This was such a great dining experience. Beautiful and comfortable atmosphere. Great layout with dining within a bar environment with tv for the sports enthusiasts. A second dining area for those wanting more of a conversation and even outside seating. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Our waitress was excellent, knowledgeable on items on the menu, and so friendly. We will definitely revisit this establishment. This would be a great date night, dinner with friends and game night. Highly recommend this restaurant! Besure to check their hours since they only serve dinner 4 to 10.

I visited Maple Creek Bistro August 24th 2024, for the first time. I stumbled across it after my visit to Halo Salt Cave and Spa.
I've dined in a lot of upscale, chique and fine dining atmospheres in the South in my 54 years, and Maple Creek is in the top three. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, the cuisine, or their atmosphere. Both were not only exceptional, but also unique. This is an environment that promotes calm and Zen while at the same time is very stimulating to the senses. The food was absolutely top notch scrumptious and my server, I wish I could remember his name, was above the board amazing. So much creativity and thought was put into this place, the owners have got to be artists.
I absolutely cannot wait until my next visit!
( which will be in two days, Saturday February 15th! )

Maple Creek Bistro exceeded our expectations! I had read numerous reviews before our first visit, but I thought no "local" restaurant would have great ambiance, really good food AND very good service! Well, they proved me wrong on each count. We sat at the bar with Colt, the bartender. Even though the bar was packed early, he always checked in with us and did a great job. You can tell that Colt, and all the servers we chatted with, are great ambassadors of Maple Creek Bistro. We shared the grilled bologna appetizer. For our entrees, I had the flash fried shrimp and my wife had half order Caesar Salad and half order Chicken Tenders. Everything was prepared well and was very satisfying. The atmosphere was very relaxing, in spite of the "hustle" of the staff and the kitchen. If you haven't tried Maple Creek Bistro, you are missing out.

I'm posting this to give the owners a heads-up, we were a party of 5, never been to Maple Creek Bistro in Kingston. We ordered 3 appetizers, smoked bologna, pita and pimento, and chicken straps. The whole table loved the bologna, it was by far all of our favorites which surprised all of us. Ok , meals, I had the special ,filet mignon wth potatoes, no flavor it was very bland, hubs had flash fried shrimp , it was ok he said, son had fish and chips he said there was way too much batter and only ate 2 of the 3 pieces. Shrimp and grits were good. So the food was just OK, which was disappointing. The ambiance and decor were great. The price was high for the taste. Back off on the batter, the shrimp , chicken and fish had way too much. I'm only saying this so y'all can be more successful because it is a beautiful restaurant , we had great service, And really hoped it'd be better as far as food but when the best thing was smoked bologna , then that might hurt you . None of us had the pizzas, so they might be better

First visit. Fireplace area is outside. Maybe a little chilly for me, we are indoors.

Very nice little comfort zone was unused. Probably customer preference.

The wait staff was excellent.. top notch. Codi/Kodi I believe helped us. First visit. Second visit, never even got the name.

Atmosphere -2 due to the obvious and invasive security cameras with lights. I don't care who watches me dine but the light on the camera was entirely creepy.

The brisket meatloaf was tender but I'm not sure a bed of mashed potato is a wise plate. The whole thing was overall a bit bland and had the consistency of the mashed potatoes. More texture is needed. Perhaps some crunch. Definitely salt and seasoning.

Pretty great little spot for this area if you're looking for a casual dining experience, albeit a bit pricey due to the location I presume.

Second visit: there's nothing spectacular about this food.
Lemonade is from a spigot. Food may be from a service truck. I've had chicken Parmesan, chicken Alfredo, buffalo chicken pizza and they are all pretty basic casual dining staple. Frozen chicken from a box?

Bland. Everything needs spices and salt.

Chicken Parmesan was okay but only average.

If you visit at night you'll blind half the patrons.

In town visiting, not a lot of dinner options. Found this spot and gave it a go. Decorated nice, staff was super friendly and helpful.

Started with the pimento app, which was fantastic. Enjoyed it very much. Wife got the meatloaf, kids got the Mac and cheese, and the flash fried shrimp, and I got the fish and chips.

Meatloaf and Mac was great. Very good. The shrimp was extremely disappointing. 6 very small shrimp (half dollar sized) spread out across a plate and a side for $19. I've gotten bigger/more serving size as an appetizer before. Unfortunately he left hungry. My fish were 3 round balls roughly 2" round, and we're unfortunately overcooked and chewy.

I wanted to like this spot very much but left really disappointed. I'm sure if we ordered other plates we would have had a different experience but the portion and quality to price / value ratio didn't do it for us.

Truly the most accommodating place I’ve ever been to! Couldn’t recommend them more. The service and food were incredible. Toni, Carson, and the beautiful bartender with gorgeous red hair could not have made this Valentine’s more special. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I had dinner at the Bistro. This is Kingston's class act for an eatery. We started with the pita and pimento appetizer which was enough for four. The pimento is extraordinarily good with just a hint of heat. Susan chose the twin chicken with coleslaw and a half house salad with the poppy seed and strawberry dressing. The half house salad was more than generous, equaling the size of a full salad at many other restaurants. The chicken was moist and not over done. I had the fish and chips with cole slaw and fries. The fish fillets were very tender, flaky - fried to perfection in a very light beer batter. Used honey mustard as a dip for the fresh hot fries as dijon mustard is not available. The Fat Tire draught was, unfortunately flat. Hard surfaces make for a noisy dining experience.
