As a destination wedding planner, I had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with ManiSol at our recent wedding at Villa Cortine on Lake Garda for our shared clients A&N. Selene and her team did an exquisite job of capturing each and every wedding event throughout the weekend, and the images she shared reflect the glamor, emotion, beauty, and love felt by all guests from our dockside welcome dinner to the last moment on the dance floor. Her work is so dynamic and vibrant, and on top of creating stunning photos to document the whole experience, it was also a joy to work with her. Selene has a warm, fun, and calming energy that puts couples at ease, and makes her genuinely fun to be around. Despite the heat and many long hours, she and her team were positive and energetic, and it was an honor to work along side them. They shared a generous preview of images, and I can’t wait to see the rest. Everything I’ve seen so far shows beautiful emotion and gorgeous lighting. I would recommend them highly to anyone, and especially for couples who want photos that are editorially beautiful, and infused with candid moments, raw emotion, and tangible energy. Originally we found Selene and ManiSol Wedding on instagram and booked an engagement shoot with her in Lake Como. She helped us organize the shoot in a beautiful garden and even organized a boat rental for us to get photos on the water. The photos far exceeded my expectations and Selene helped us both feel comfortable and natural. The pictures were unreal, even though we were so sweaty during our photoshoot we looked great in the final photos!

Because we loved her and her work so much we decided to book with her for our wedding in Verona. Again, Selene was prepared, professional, and captured the authentic moments of our welcome party and wedding day. She made sure to help us find time to take photos as a couple while still capturing all of the special moments throughout our day. Everyone who sees our photos remarks on the quality, color and lighting. Selene and Alba were incredibly helpful on the wedding day, both going above and beyond. Our guests were a mixture of italian and American and both Selene and Alba spoke great English which made posing and communication so much easier. Selene and Alba were so much fun, so easy going, and genuinely added to our wedding experience. I can't thank the ManiSol team enough and would recommend them to anyone!

Out of all the vendors I used for my wedding, I was the most impressed with Selene and Alba! From the initial meeting we knew that we were in good hands, and as we communicated with them throughout our engagement we felt more and more comfortable. We hired them for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding. The team was extremely professional and made the experience so much fun! When we hit hiccups during the wedding, it was Selene and Alba that were quick to jump in and provide solutions (they seriously saved our grand exit at the last minute!!). Beyond that of their professionalism and kindness, our photos and videos were AMAZING!!! We get so many compliments on them and I honestly look at them every day. Selene made me feel so comfortable and so beautiful. She came to my rescue by helping me with my hair and even lacing up my dress.. as you can see they look absolutely perfect in the photos. I was so worried before the shoot as I had worked with two sets of photographers and none of the pictures were what I really envisioned. But Selene’s composition, framing, usage of light and understanding of my Asian features were just - breathtaking. Out of 300 photos that were returned I loved almost every shot, which is of course almost unimaginable if you worked with a less experienced photographer. I highly recommend her.. and will return for an anniversary shoot !

Both me and my fiance are so bad at posing or acting in front of the camera so I told Selene I would love our photos to be very natural with candid moments. Throughout our short time planning the wedding, Selene was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us plan the timeline of our day, met with us many times to go over what we were looking for and ideas for the day, and was an absolute joy to work with.

We were very fortunate to have Selene capture our wedding located in southern Italy. We received a preview of about 100 pictures a week after the wedding and entirety of the photos 2 months after. Each photo is so beautiful and we are so happy with our choice to have Selene photograph our special day. We have received many compliments on the pictures.

Selene captured so many special parts of the day. There were pictures that encapsulated the beauty of the venue, the food, pictures of small details I had included (in memory charm on my bouquet was visible in all pictures), candid pictures of guests, and of course jaw dropping photos of my husband and I.

Selene’s talented eye captured our wedding day with perfection. Whether it was the small details or the big moments, she was there, an expert curator whose subtle touch made the place and people shine. It snowed 12 centimeters on the morning of our wedding. That part of Piemonte doesn’t normally have that much snow. The roads were terrible, she even had to walk over a kilometer up the hill to get to us. Instead of being stressed, her reply was, “This will make beautiful pictures!” And it did! It is without reservation that we recommend Selene and the ManiSol team.
