I had the fortune of being a DJ at wedding that was coordinated and decorated by Mad Oddities. The couple wanted a very moody 'Til Death Do Us Part' theme for their wedding at Venue 650 in Winter Haven. They picked the right decorator/coordinator with Mad Oddities. I was able to watch them handle several situations that could have derailed a wedding with ease, flexibility, and grace. Their attention to detail and their warm personalities are what stood at most to me.

FIVE STARS ONLY?! No. Not enough stars. They deserve the galaxy!

Our "Star Wars" themed wedding was a hit on May 4th and we couldn't have done it without Grisell and Michael of Mad Oddities! Bless their hearts for their patience to coordinate with us despite our busy schedules and living 4 hours away from our wedding venue, 1010 West. From the moment we toured with them to our actual wedding day, they never skipped a beat. From Michael's infectious energy that consistently carried throughout our busy day and even on the dance floor dressed as Boba Fett to Grisell's creative eye in decorating the venue with the limited photos and instructions given (heck, I even provided a bin of extra decor with no instruction but she utilized everything well!), we trusted the process and they. freaking. delivered. on our wedding day! We were HIGHLY IMPRESSED! Even with the flow of our wedding, from rehearsal day up until packing up the venue after our event, everything felt seamless. Many of our guests commented how much they had a blast and enjoyed the flow of the night. We are very happy it was a memorable night for everyone!

They are truly advocates for their brides and grooms! Whatever issues that came about, they pivoted with grace and with effective communication. They were professional, but also very fun people -- honestly, every call we had didn't feel like a business meeting but a fun conversation, which made the planning process feel more at ease and enjoyable. We appreciate their guidance and honesty. We never felt pressured and never had our toes stepped on. It truly was a collaborative effort to make our wedding vision come to life!

I don't know how else I can put into words that I can really tell they love what they do and care for their clients. As an experienced bridesmaid, I've seen different planners and personalities, but Mad Oddities stood out to us and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event!

I wish I had more photos of the details from the night because everything was so well decorated and pieced together! So enjoy the few photos I have so far 🙂

Everything was absolutely amazing. Ive never even been to a wedding much less planned and orchestrated one. I called on Mad Oddities about two months before the wedding and boy did they deliver. An absolutely fantastic team who will bring your vision for your event to life. Michael and Grisell are the dream team. We are so grateful we found Grisell and Michael. It was a last minute decision to look for a wedding coordinator and we're glad we did. I had envisioned a wedding setting and they made everything happen. They have reasonable prices for everything, too. Over all, we are satisfied! Grisell and Michael captured absolutely everything we ever imagined it would be and then some. Everything was complete and utter perfection. ( even if I changed everything 10000 times 😉 )

Grisell and Michael are absolutely spectacular! From start to finish, they delivered seamlessly. The photos do not do the decorations justice. The real floral arrangements were stunning and enhanced our wedding dinner in every way. Thank you both so much!!

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Mad Oddities. From the beginning, their service was disorganized and unprofessional. They failed to meet deadlines, causing unnecessary stress during an already hectic time. The decor provided was far from what was discussed or expected, leaving me feeling let down on a day that was supposed to be perfect.

What’s worse, the team showed little to no respect for my concerns or requests, brushing off issues instead of addressing them. Communication was poor, and I often felt ignored or undervalued as a client. For anyone planning a special event, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This company did not deliver the quality or professionalism they promised.
