We just got back from a 7 day river cruise down the Danube on AmaWaterways. Such an amazing experience! Wonderful food, service, and excursions. So my wife and I recently returned from our first river cruise, (or cruise of any kind), the Rhine castle and Alps cruise. We both vote this as the most fun vacation we have been on.
We owe much of the excellent experience to Shantha at Luxury Destinations Concierge who not only made it easy and a pleasure to plan, but also was available throughout our trip.
As this was our first cruise and first time overseas we really had no idea what we were doing or how things would work. And due to my poor organization, some of the arrangement made weeks and months before our trip, were often buried deep in my emails, leading me to being lost as to what to do next.
Each time and couldn't remember some detail or figure out what I did with some ticket or what was the next step on our itinerary, I reached out to Shantha and she would quickly respond with the answer. And in a way that made me feel not quite so dumb for being a newbie to this type of vacation.
My wife and I have already placed a deposit for a future cruise and we look forward to working with Shantha and Luxury Destinations Concierge to plan what I hope are many more great vacation memories.
