She was always there when I needed a sounding board, was stressed and needed to problem solve! She was so supportive through planning such a special day in our lives! She was so organized and top of things, things I didn't even think of myself. Emily was also our biggest cheerleader, always making us feel confident in our decisions. When it came to our wedding day we didn't have to worry one bit! We knew we were in great hands with her! The day of this amazing duo, Emily & MaryKate made our day run smoothly! Our ceremony/reception venue was all diy and they killed it! They made my vision of our wedding day come to life! We are so happy we chose LLE to help coordinate our big day. Originally a 2020 wedding, we had to move to 2021 because of Covid. Although most of our planning was done, as we approached our date we quickly realized we would need another hand. MaryKate was great to work with and was so helpful leading up to our wedding day. The whole day went very smoothly thanks to her planning and coordination with vendors. Her assistant Emily was also a huge help as our ceremony and reception were at different venues. Emily from lovely lemon events was a ROCKSTAR. She is knowlegable, patient, and kind. Throughout the process she made SURE that my wishes were carried out and took care of any little oversights I had been overlooking due to the obvious wedding stress. Our meetings over the phone were great, and she really started to shine when we met in person at our venue. She knew all the right questions to ask and offered to pitch in to fill gaps where needed (for example we borrowed her cake knife because we didn't want to buy one.) The day before and day of the wedding she was right there, taking care of everything. We had a snow storm the day before and she even made SURE the venue shoveled the sidewalks so we and our guests could access the chapel and reception hall. On the day of, she showed up early and with an assistant ready to go! Being a bride is hella stressful and I really appreciate that she tried her damndest to figure out small problems without bringing them to me so I could just enjoy getting ready with my bridal party. (I think there was some kind of last minute seating chart discrepency.) When it was go time, she got up on a chair and made sure to lay down the law and do crowd control to get everyone lined up where they were supposed to be. The ceremony was perfect and Emily suggested giving my husband and I a few moments alone after so we could catch our breath. Im so glad I listened to her because that was one of my favorite parts- taking it all in with my new husband while being dressed up and about to party! When the reception hit, Emily and her assistant monica made sure I had my specialty drink as soon as possible and kept my cup full all night long! It was truly the most magical day of my life and I couldn't have done it with out having a wedding planner. If you're thinking about it, DO IT. It's the gift you give yourself. 10/10 recommend.

I would give MaryKate and Emily at Lovely Lemon Events a million stars if I could. From our very first phone conversations I felt so comfortable and the excitement only heightened as we worked together to come up with ideas to execute our wedding perfectly. On the day-of they were an amazing support network that were SO talented at helping my vision come to life. They set up our beautiful backyard wedding oasis perfectly and quickly, helped me set up florals at our altar and even helped pivot when a surprise rain shower came through during our reception. By the end of the wedding process I felt like I gained two new friends and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Emily and MaryKate were wonderful to work with. I primarily worked with Emily for my day of coordination. She has a great attention to detail and asked many questions to ensure she captured our vision and allowed us to be worry-free on the day. Unlike many other vendors we looked at for day-of coordination, I love the way Lovely Lemon Events structured their services as I felt like I could go to them with questions at any time without feeling like I had a set number of hours or conversations left. Emily even attended a vendor appointment for me as I was planning my wedding from out of town. They are professionals and also just very kind people! I would definitely recommend.

The one piece of unsolicited wedding advice I now have for people: at the very least, hire a day of coordinator. If I can be more specific, hire Mary Kate. Mary Kate was wonderful leading up to our wedding, asking questions we didn't know to ask and giving us suggestions when we didn't know how to answer. Whenever we had a problem, she had a solution. We simply can't recommend her enough.
