There are not many places you can ride horses on the beach in California and this happens to be one of them. Emma, our trail guide was absolutely the best. The horses were amazing. Great little trail ride in May when all of the flowers were in full bloom with so many different colors along our trail ride before getting to the beach. Group photo we have the two advanced rider horses Yeti and Rio from right to left then the intermediate horses Midnight, Rootbeer(the owners roping horse) and Oso on the far left their beginner horse. A mix of wild mustang rescues and quarter horses.

Such a fun experience! I was in town with friends wine tasting and we found this on Trip Advisor and booked last minute. Turned out to be our favorite part of the weekend! Our guide Camille was so nice, experienced, patient and spent extra time with us the beach. We took the sunset ride and it was incredible. Would 100% recommend and do it again!

Spent almost what seemed a lifetime creating a memorable experience for our proposal. When I came across Los Padres Outfitters, their proposal package checked off everything on my list. Tessa (Owner) was super nice and had a ton of energy over the phone, sold me instantly.

When it came to the proposal, THIS IS THE IDEAL PROPOSAL PLAN. We have family and friends still talking about it a month out and sharing it with other people. We are still the talk of the town! Our wrangler, another Tessa, was such a good actress, highly energetic and kept us engaged. She made us feel confident in the horse-back riding no matter the experience level and seamlessly transitioned us into the proposal. Proposal comes with horse-back riding (AMAZING RIDE AND VIEWS), proposal set-up (BEAUTIFUL), photos and videos (SO GOOD - THANK YOU LANY), and a lifetime of memories that will guarantee you a pat on the back from your future father in law.

Guys, you will not regret making this decision! 10/10 would do it again and will be back for rides.

I reached out to LPO a few months in advance and spoke with Tessa regarding the proposal package. She was super helpful and went over all of the details with me. The day of the proposal, our guide was super friendly and our horses were amazing, very well trained. All went as planned, my girlfriend (now fiancée) was super happy and loved the surprise. I’m very thankful with the LPO team including Elena our photographer, she was amazing! I’m very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend booking with LPO!

This place is awesome! They staff are super cool and friendly and the horses are magnificently trained to deal with noise and cars without being spooked. And the trail we were on was cloudy but a blast! Easily the best people to ride horses with in southern California!

I had the pleasure of riding a horse for the first time for my fiancés birthday.I choose to do the beach ride and everything was perfect,I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. Our guide was sweet and helpful and I can’t wait to do it again. I would highly recommend them.
