Such a hidden gem! I was just looking on the map for nearby parks and was surprised I've never heard of this place. It was very quiet and peaceful. The nature center has fascinating exhibits and the trail is nice and shady.

My wife and I wanted to visit a state park nearby Pembroke pines so we visited this ine. Turned out to be very peaceful and beautiful. They have paved trails and unpaved horse trails with beautiful scenery. It was quiet and peaceful. Nice place to meditate and immerse yourself in nature. Seems as though one can rent out the building for parties and events?

What a great place to go to see a natural and historic place. Within 5 minutes saw a baby armadillo looking for his lunch! Awesome museum as well. A lot of history. Can't wait to go back!

Exceptional place to visit! We had visited Flamingo Gardens and in speaking to a staff member they mentioned the park down the street. So when finishing there I said let's go see the park down the street. WOW! First of all free. Nature center had a ton of hands on exhibits. The walkways were all paved. Trees were beautiful. Saw many birds and fish. We were tired but could have stayed much longer. The rocking chairs were really nice too.

Beautiful park and trails. Love that they pay homage to the previous tenants, Pioneer City and Kapok Tree Inn, with pictures and memorabilia in the Main Hall along with exhibits, fossils and interactive content for the kids.

Another hidden gem. I've lived in Coral Springs nearly 19 years and only discovered this place today. If you happen to have your own horse, the bridle path is paradise. If not, bring your bicycles for an easy ride along a paved sidewalk that parallels the horse trail. The nature center provides an informative hands-on exhibit of flora, fauna, and interesting exhibits of indigenous peoples from long ago. It's hard to think this was an island once, in the heart of Davie. Outback is an amazing lilypad pond that will remind art lovers of a Monet painting. Cold drinks and rocking chairs are available.
