An absolute breathtaking location! Turning off the Tok Cutoff highway you travel a stunningly beautiful 2 mile road to reach the lodge and cabins. There you are greeted by owner Becky who walks you through your cabin and has home made cookies waiting for you. Becky is charming and warm and an absolute delight. She felt like a friend immediately upon meeting her! Our cabin was very clean with good bedding and excellent towels. There was a queen bed on the ground level and a twin bed in the loft. Coffee/tea maker is provided and there are good toiletries in the bathroom. The grounds are gorgeous. You feel nestled between the snow capped mountains and we enjoyed sitting out by the firepit picnic table drinking wine and taking in the scenery. A babbling brook runs directly behind the cabin and the stand alone sauna building is excellent and feels so good after a days travel. We even took a walk through the grounds and saw the "rustic" cabins, including the one where John Wayne stayed. These too looked very well maintained and clean for those who really like to connect with nature. Make sure and bring sandwich fixings with you if spending a few days as you are tucked into nature and without city "stuff" nearby.

We had a wonderful one night stay in Eagles Nest which was clean, quaint and beautifully decorated. The log burner had already been lit and we were very cosy. Shane and Becky were the perfect hosts serving an excellent breakfast in their beautiful home.. Would love to return.

Wow. What an amazing find and gem, 20 minutes outside of Tok, AK, nestled in the Mountains with a beautiful creek running through the property. It has both new and old school log cabins as well as an amazingly appointed Lodge. Becky was born to be a hostess and was so kind and wonderful. We were delighted by an amazing breakfast the next morning and homemade cookies upon our arrival. Becky shared some cool history of the place as well. The cabin "Wolf's Den" was also nicely appointed and even had a wood stove. My only regret is that we only stayed one night. Would have really loved to stay longer to take in the serenity. We will be back.

Absolutely the most perfect trip our family could have taken! From the warm and friendly hosts to the breathtaking views! Everything was simply perfect! We went up in February for my birthday and are already talking about going back. I cannot say enough kind things about the hosts and their warm and welcoming home. The food was delicious! The conversations were always flowing. We learned so much about Alaska. It was the trip our family needed.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here during our 2 week September adventure in Alaska. Beautiful, peaceful and serene quickly come to mind as I reflect on our time here and by far this was our favorite accommodation of not only this Alaskan trip but our prior trip as well. John and Jill are wonderful hosts that make you feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed delicious dinners and breakfasts, yummy homemade desserts and of course the added company of Timber and Willow (very friendly Golden Retrievers) who guided us on our daily hikes. We fished in the river near by, we hiked to the top of the Mt. overlooking the lodge, we canoed on the lake, we rode bikes, learned or rather tried our hand at trap shooting with John, picked cranberries, soaked in the hot tub and even saw a bull moose on the edge of the property. Fall here was spectacular and a stay we will always cherish!

We stayed overnight with our family of 5 at one of the cabins. It was a little cramped but we made it work. John & Jill are super sweet & everything was clean. The hot tub was great but breakfast was even better the next morning! (We missed supper but it’s included as well.) The stream behind our cabin sounded so soothing. So many trails to hike, bikes they would let you use, kayaking at a nearby lake, a sauna & many other options. Wish we had been able to stay another night. We loved it & plan to stay again next time we visit the area!

Stayed here on the last night of my 22 day vacation touring Alaska - and this was by far the BEST experience I had on the entire trip. John and Jill created a real oasis in the wilderness. The cabins are superb and the grounds are outstanding. Dinner and breakfast hit the mark. Winter or summer this would be a wonderful family hideaway.

Family of 4 found this gem in the Tok area! Nice cabin with queen bedroom and kids loft that they loved! Backed to a small burbling creek. Big open lawn with lots of room to play. Friendly hosts and delicious breakfast!
