My wife and I took a tour with Dave during our honeymoon trip to Grand lake, he made it so memorable. His ability to step into history and take you along with him is incredible. He makes sure to make the trip as comfortable and safe as possible. He gets to know his customers and makes it a friendly experience of knowledge and not just a cut and dry tour. I highly recommend Lively tours!

We thoroughly enjoyed Dave's history-based tour of the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park. Dave knows the park's history backward and forward, and he uses humor and his personal family connection to convey that history. This is NOT a boring history lecture! He also talks about the Indigenous past with respect, using knowledge gained from his friendships with enrolled members in the park's associated tribes. He shares geological and biological aspects of the park. He stopped for us to take pictures of wildlife and scenery. And he took pictures of me and my husband in the gorgeous settings. We highly recomnend Dave Lively's *lively* tours and talks!

The four hour tour with Dave Lively really helped us learn far more than if we had taken ourselves through the park . I encourage anyone visiting the area to reserve a time with this knowledgeable historian . He educated us on his family history of the Harbison Sisters and so much information This was a highlight of our trip !! Very Special!! We saw Moose , elk, coyote and marmots ! Dave made my trip to Colorado absolutely amazing! He is a personable and excellent tour guide as well as historian, and told me so many fascinating facts about the people of Colorado and its rich history. I loved his tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. We stopped at amazing viewpoints and he even offered to take pictures of me. I highly recommend a tour with Dave!

My wife and I recently experienced the joy of Dave Lively's 4 hour tour of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Dave helped us to really SEE and understand things we never would have noticed or known, from the amazing construction activity of the depression-era Civilian Conservation Corps to the courageous Harbison family to the devastation of the October 2021 fire. His passion for history (he continues to research) and for this area is contagious! This tour is not to be missed!
