Lekita was one of my initial top choices and once I seen all that she could deliver, especially being full service, it was a no brainer. We worked together for a 1.5 years across the country from each other and I have to say she took all the stress off of me.

She allowed me to have as much or as little involvement as I wanted. She had countless ideas and suggestions and was honest if something wouldn’t be the best idea. For me to be in California and her In Florida, we had the most seamless wedding with very minor, if any, hiccups. All of my guests are still talking about how beautiful it was to this day! And it was in Aug ‘23.
It matched our personalities perfect and she even threw in a few upgrades for me at the last minute. Lekita- you are IT! Thank you endlessly for the perfect moment in time. I would do it over again with only you.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding where this company was the day of coordinators. Let me tell you! What a great experience. LYRIC, was a gem and godsent. So patient, communicative and well prepared. She had safety pins, needle & thread etc ready to go. She even made it to the dance floor to show us how to do a specific dance. It was a great time. Our bride didn’t even know anything that didn’t work out or where problems arose because they handled everything. Love love love this experience!

I had high hopes when hiring Lektia, especially given the price point. Unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming and did not meet my expectations. While Lektia handled the basics, everything felt mediocre—nothing stood out as exceptional.

As someone unfamiliar with wedding planning, I was lost and unsure what questions to ask. I wanted a stress-free month, which is why I hired her. However, when I asked about our rehearsal plans months before the wedding, she responded that I needed to upgrade my service to get an answer, as I had only paid for the month-of coordination. I found this frustrating, especially since it was a simple question.

When the month of coordination finally began, I had to reach out to her to figure out what was on the agenda. I was disappointed that she didn’t have an agenda ready when I called. It seemed like she was caught off guard, as she was just returning from vacation.

Communication was lacking throughout the month. Given the amount I paid, I expected more frequent updates—calls, texts, and emails about what was going on, which vendors she contacted, and so on. I also requested that she cc' my mother and me in any emails, but this didn’t happen. My mother ended up doing most of the planning and execution herself.

I turned in all the necessary documents to the venue without Lektia because my "month of coordination" hadn't officially started yet. I didn’t receive any of her opinions or suggestions, which was a primary reason I hired her. I ended up making decisions about the floor plan on my own and hoped for the best.

Lektia was late to our rehearsal, which added to my frustration. We were there waiting for her while also trying to stay dry as it was raining. On the wedding day, after our first look, I didn’t know where to go because all my guests were inside the venue when they were supposed to be outside. I had to hide near the bathroom to avoid being seen before walking down the aisle. This situation could have been avoided with better communication from Lektia.

We also had a table set up for guests to sign little hearts, but because they followed me and the bridal party, only about 20 out of 120 guests signed it. Additionally, my husband and I ended up cutting our cake twice, not really sure how that happened.

I understand that everything comes with a price tag, and everyone values their services differently. However, I feel like I overpaid for basic service. As a coordinator, I expected Lektia to guide me and help me, especially when I was struggling with tasks like the seating chart. I wish she had asked if I needed help rather than leaving me to figure things out on my own. I regret spending so much money on something that didn’t meet my needs. My sister who is also in the field of event coordinating felt that Lekita did not have a handle on things. In hindsight, I should have only paid for day-of coordination. Highly disappointed.
