This fall is so beautiful!
Although my daughter and I were unable to figure out how others were able to walk on the top of the waterfall, we adored it from afar.

Science Tip: When taking pictures from afar, if you have a view finder that you are able to look through and have a phone with a camera on it, try this!

Place your camera on one (hole on either side) of the view finder. If you hold it just right, you are able to capture a picture of the object up closer! This also works with telescopes, microscopes, etc. See my pictures for the difference! (Only the first few starting from the Scenic Waterfall are with the view finder.)

From the beginning of this road is a 12 mile drive of stopping areas for scenic views. There are hiking areas as well.

I would highly recommend an SUV or truck. A vehicle that sits higher off the ground in order to park along the 12 mile road. Otherwise, your vehicle will bottom out! (You are in the mountains ⛰️ !)

It's such a very beautiful place. The waterfall is incredible as well at the rock formations and nature itself. It can get a little crowded, especially in the summer, when a lot of people go here to swim. Make sure you bring plenty of water and stay hydrated!

We spent our first day of vacation wandering through Little River Canyon in Ft. Payne Alabama. The southern side of Lookout Mtn. Very little water, but the views were fabulous ?.

We happened to pick a great sunshiny/very clear day to take a little trip over to northeast Alabama and view this incredible river canyon and waterfalls. A lot of my posts photos depend on good weather conditions and sometimes its hit or miss depending on what time of day I leave to drive to these destinations alone with cloud/sunny wind speeds. This time it was perfect! Enjoy!

Small platform with a set of mounted binoculars so you can view Little River Falls. Couple picnic tables and a gravel parking lot. Seemed to be a trailhead at this location as well.

It was a very short and easy boardwalk for those not wanting to take a trail. There are the usual names scratched everywhere but otherwise pretty clean and well kept. The falls are a bit far away for an overlook.
