This is one cool park, its huge and has miles of trails, both for hiking and biking. The addition of The Forge Adventure Park a pay by the day or the attraction recreation area will only enhance the use of this hidden gem.

Mountain biking trails are not well maintained. It's a bit sad because in previous years they were well marked with signage and paths were clear. They also used to have mtb classes. Really cool. It seems as if whoever ran the mtb stuff is no longer working there because I don't see any maintenance. Disappointing since I paid 15 bucks extra for a bike pass specifically so I could do those trails.

This place is nice to get away and hang out with the family, friend's, or a date. Fun and relaxing kayaking and some good fishing. No gas motors, only electric. Nice biking and hiking trails. A lot to do and see here for outdoors people.

There's a good size lake with a single boat launch ramp. GPS users need to be careful because the directions would take you to an inaccessible point on the south side of the river. Follow the GPS to the entrance of the parking lot but don't enter unless this is your true destination. If you're looking for the boat launch ramp you need to keep going about 20 or 30 yards past the parking entrance going over railroad tracks then turn right onto a gravel road on the other side of the river. Keep going for about a quarter of a mile until you see a large parking lot. The launch ramp is hidden just past the parking paved area. There's a one stall public restroom nearby. Enjoy your day on the water!

A nice hiking trail round a big pond. Saw a beautiful swan, couple cormorants (birds), and wild flowers. It takes about an hour to do the entire circle, maybe less, we stopped at a picnic table and ate sandwiches we packed.
