This place is worth getting off the 5 at Willows in Northern California! Everything on this menu is fantastic! Have an outdoor walk up bar with sports on the televisions, an outdoor eating area and a large indoor restaurant. The portions are huge, service is very friendly. The Patty Melt I had was the best one I’ve had in my life! Onion rings were perfect. Definitely worth stopping here!

Great small local bar and burger spot!!

My husband and I had seen this spot several times, but it was always busy.
We recently had a rare afternoon without the child, so we decided to stop in.

Food was actually really good. Most times, when you see a small bar spot, you assume it's drunk food. ? NO! This place is awesome and has great customer service.

Small outdoor bar area, open-air style with outdoor patio style seating. There is also indoor seating in a long, narrow building. The bar seats to your left as you enter are pretty neat, in my opinion, with the television and bartender right at your convenience. There was plenty of indoor seating, and we happen to have the inside to ourselves.

We both had burgers, one with shoe string fries and one onion ring. Typical fries with the shoe string style, but the onion rings were perfect. Batter was light and crisp and the onion stayed in tact and didn't slide out when eaten like most.

I was pleasantly surprised and not disappointed at all.

Our group walked in just before closing on Sunday night, and yet we were treated to super good food and beer. The young lady working the counter was over the top friendly and provided amazing service. Ouf of the 5 restaurants we tried that weekend, this one was the tops!

It's been a couple years since we've been down to the Last Stand... it's still a funky kool place...
Young lady, who took our order (Patty Melt & Rings / 2 sodas) was a bright and shiny face ❤️. I mentioned my wife and I were sharing the meal and the order came out split in 2 different boats (great communication on her part with the kitchen) ?
Food was good and the condiment sauces 6 pack was the star of the food show ? ?
Note To The Manager/and or/owners:
our 1 sandwich 1 side meal took 25 mins to be delivered. It appeared there were several big Phone / To-Go orders before us. It also appeared there was only 1 cook (who was doing more than just cooking) she was packaging & delivering all the To-Go customers as well...
I would suggest that someone should have bailed her out, during that rush period.
Note 2 to the boss:
In the past, we've eaten out on the patio (picnic tables) - could not do that on this trip because all the tables (except for 1) that was occupied, had no umbrellas... and it was a warm afternoon.
Question: didn't you have canvas sheets (like the bandstand area) over the entire patio, at one time? ?
Love the vibe of this place (and your employees), we will be back!

Great American style food in the small town of Willows. The venue offers indoor and outdoor seating as well as monthly karaoke and live music. Open til 10 but grill shuts down at 8 so if you're looking for some local eats here's a spot to look at!

"Drive-ins, diners and dives"... This falls under "dives" as they serve beer. You know you're going to dive when the waitress is carrying a beer across the floor spilling it as she goes without thought or concern. The food was tasty for driving food. There was a dine-in area. We were able to escape the heat. Bathroom was clean. Food took 25 minutes to arrive at the table, so not a quick bite place. Patty melt was on a light rye bread. Fries were hot. Fried Zucchini came with a fresh marinara sauce in a big full basket. Bacon cheeseburger looked attractive; my friend ate it all. Had to hunt down the waitress for the bill. Credit cards accepted. Parking was plentiful.

Very good burgers! If you have time to stop and eat this is the place to be..so much better than fast food. Our burgers were made to order with fresh ingredients. I love tater tots that are cooked to perfection as mine were. We enjoyed our meals..
