Paid tens of thousands of dollars to have such a poor experience. My wedding day was awful because of the lack of service I received as a bride and two years later I still cry about how I was treated.
My “bridal attendant” Anna did absolutely nothing all day. I saw her twice. Other than that she completely disappeared. My entire day I was running around like a chicken without a head doing things my attendant should have done. I was going to hire a day of coordinator but my contact at Lands end assured me that I did not need to hire one. I paid an exorbitant amount of money to not have a single drink all night. The only drink I got was one my sister in law got for me. And then I had to go deal with another issue my bridal attendant should have handled, and my drink was taken off my table when I got back. I looked all over for my bridal attendant many times that night. Something a bride should never have to do.
The ceremony was hideous. The one part of my wedding where I was over the moon the entire time, before I had to start being my own bridal attendant I can’t look at the photos let alone hang one in my house. The tent they use for the outdoor ceremony is hideous. You can see rust in the photo by the light fixture. Please take my warning. Do not say yes to getting married under their tent. Do it indoors.
The worst part? I LOVE this venue. I used to hang out in the parking lot with best friend who passed away while we’d imagine having a double wedding there together. I rant and raved about the venue to everyone. And I will say the food is amazing and the grounds are absolutely stunning. That being said, it’s with a heavy heart I have to give them this bad review. I so wanted this to be a wonderful day as all brides do.
I can’t forgive the complete lack of service I experienced on my wedding day.. She was there for less than 5 minutes in the morning to walk with me to the first look and she gave me a glass of water twice because I felt like I was going to overheat in my dress. But by the cocktail hour, she completely disappeared after sitting us in front of a selection of cocktail hour food. I only saw her again when she was getting everyone ready for the reception intros an hour later. (And she was rude when she lined us up for intros.)
I only saw my maitre d Ceaser once during the reception. They also took my plate before I even got to eat even though I told them to leave it for me. (It had started raining after the ceremony and there was a moment of sunlight as they served dinner so my photographer rushed us outside.) I had to track down Ceaser to get my plate wrapped up. They did give us leftovers, but what was done was done.
The service for me was so bad that my sister in law had to go get me my ONLY drink. And my husband was constantly going to the bar for his own drinks. At the end of the night I was so annoyed I had only had one single drink (that was removed off my table after I had a single sip) so my brother in law got a bartender to pour me a drink after the reception was over. I’m extremely upset because I’ve heard such absolutely amazing things about the attendant Kim.
I left my wedding completely devastated by my experience after the amount of money we spent. I was stone cold sober, with everyone else around me drunk and it was extremely upsetting. Especially because every review I’ve read for Land’s End ALWAYS says the bride and groom always had a drink put in their hands. Often before their last drink was empty!! They dropped the ball for us… It upset me so much and they can’t possibly make it up to us. I’m glad my guests had a good time and service but WE are the ones who should have gotten the best service there. That’s the whole point of having a bridal attendant… I wish I hired a day of coordinator even though they assured me I didn’t need one. Clearly I did….

As a photographer, working at Land's End is a treat! Where else can you find a beach, gazebo, flowers, boats and architecture all in one place? The bride and grooms suites are amazing and the food is fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Hands down the best choice we made for anything wedding related!! The venue is gorgeous inside and out and they only do one wedding at a time, so you have the entire property to yourself. We were planning on having an outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour, but knew that if the weather didn’t cooperate, we’d be moved indoors and so we wanted a venue that looked nice on the inside too. They include SO much food that we didn’t need any extras or upgrades. Yes, this venue is on the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for. It was worth every penny. All of our guests have been raving about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food and drinks were. We had an amazing experience from the moment we first toured through the day of our wedding. All of the staff is fantastic. If you're considering this venue for your wedding, just do it!! You will not be disappointed!!

Amazing waterfront views for sunset! Parking lot was interesting, not really any marked spaces just a dirt path. Staff were very kind during our event and even offered to bring drinks to us instead of us waiting in line! The food was not good except for the burrata appetizer. The salmon was dry and over cooked. Space was a little tight as our table was right my the bathroom and photo booth line. Otherwise had a great time!

My wife and I attended a close friend's wedding here recently. The venue was spacious and beautiful. The food was incredible and the waitstaff was attentive. All in all this place was very impressive and as a guest it felt great to be there. Absolutey worth your time.
