Very nice property and venue and nice people besides the fact we showed up on set up day and had to pressure wash the whole barn our self with our own pressure washers.(bird crap and dirt everywhere) Then had to bring our own lawn mower to bag the grass up sense it wasn’t mowed till the day before.

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Lakewood Farms. The best part was that our friends and family could stay on property all weekend—we had an extended time to celebrate! We rented the barn, lake house and log cabin so our guests could stay the night, with no need to travel anywhere. The crew at Lakewood Farms was so easy to work with as we were planning and during the event weekend. They were always so helpful, answering all of our questions and allowing us to visit anytime we needed along the way. All vendors were handpicked by my husband and I—including food trucks for dinner! We had the best time celebrating on a beautiful summer day!

This cabin was absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil, secluded get away close to plenty of restaurants for ordering in, or cooking yourself - look no further. We enjoyed quiet weekend getaway in December, and absolutely loved our time there. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and some down time away from the normal chaos. There is wonderful deck space overlooking the Great Outdoors, with no neighbors to impose. We would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

The lake and surrounding property is beautiful with it’s huge oak trees. Great photo opps. The huge house on the property is 60’s-70’s themed with most of the furnishings looking original. It smelled of moth balls though. Be advised, if hosting a gathering there be sure to tell the owner if you have elderly or handicapped guests as there is limited parking near the house.

We had the pleasure of getting to check out Lakewood Farms for the first time in late May.
