I have epilepsy and have had a stroke and the morning of check out I was past check out time after having a seizure and tried to explain to the front desk that called no less than 10 times and would hang up upon my lady answering the phone. I finally called to explain the situation about having a seizure being the reason to be running behind check out time when the very rude lady at the front desk told me it was my problem that I had a seizure and she just needed us out of the room which it will probably be weeks before the room is rented again and when I returned the key she refused to reimburse the $10 fee taken to make sure that they key is returned!!! Out of the probably hundred hotels and motels I have stayed in my life I've never been told that having a seizure was my problem not hers and then a refusal to return the $10 key fee when the key was returned in excellent working condition!!! If they are so desperate for money and can't be understanding at all then maybe they need to be in a different line of work or improve the motel which might make more people actually want to stay there!!!!

Clean rooms, friendly service. They do a great job at keeping the rooms stocked and cleaned. It's also between Ladd Landing and all of the stores/restaurants in Kingston.

I want to forewarn everyone about this hotel. The man that runs the place is a slum Lord and ruid as hell. We walked in the door, first thing we saw was a family of roaches running across the floor, our blanket on the top of the bed was nasty and dirty, the towels in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been washed. Asked for more and he said that I was the one that dirtied them and told me no. I asked to have our sheets and stuff changed. Mind you we were here for over a month and paid almost $1700 and we were nice about asking and he said no. Paid for a week and I told him I wanted my money back and he said no. Everything on the room was dirty, pillowcases were stained with what looked like sweat stains, bathtub was gross and had a trickle of water coming out of it. T.V. stopped working also and asked and he said there was nothing he could do. Oh and the supposed cleaning lady never once came and cleaned our room or asked if she could. Lazy, smart*"$, rude and just an $#&hole all around. I would completely stay away from this hotel or roach motel if I was you or you and your family. Also this prick calls the phone in your room at 9:45-10:00 and says that checkout is at 11:00? Thought you had to ask to get a wake up call.... Not here. Avoid this hotel like the plaque people. Im sure there are hundreds of bad reviews on them and there will be more to come. Save your money and go elsewhere. Sorry about the long rant but Im done now. Have a good day.

Stayed at the lake view inn last night. The beds were very comfortable. The check in experience was not. The lady checking us in wrote down every information on my drivers liscence and then after paying started to write down my credit card number. She said she needed it to put in the computer and got angry when we told her she didn’t need it in the computer because we had already paid. On top of that the bathroom was filthy. I can see a place getting old over time but it doesn’t take much to clean a place. Just be cautious when checking in.

This place is absolutely Terrible... NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE!!
The lady at the front desk is rude and like to raise her voice because she don't understand you.

The room has roaches and the bed had bed bugs.

We stayed 2 weeks and not once did we get clean towels or sheets the housekeeper was rude banged on my door and told me to take the small bag of trash to thr dumpster around back because it was to much for her. Her boss did confront her because she isn't doing her job. I have asked over and over again if we could have the room serviced and nothing

I booked a room here for a week, this place is disgusting, dirt, bugs, absolutely no service of any kind, the beds dont get made, the trash cans are not emptied, you get 2 towels and a washcloth and thats it, your not getting any more. There is no free breakfast of any kind, the whole parking lot reeks of urine. The lakeview is a glimpse of water across a 4 lane highway. It was so bad I left 2 days early, I didnt ask for a refund but when i left there was no one in the office so i left the key in the drop, the owner knew I was leaving, when i came back for my 10 dollar key deposit, he wouldnt give it back, what a dirt bag, stay away from this place at all costs, there are better rooms for same price in kingston and harriman

Clean rooms customer service was good and the location is great. It has a nice view of the lake,the Mexican restaurant next door is excellent and located next to the exit. Only a few miles from TVA Kingston

Stayed at the Lakeview Inn 1 night. While my bathroom was being renovated. Didn't show up till 1130 that night and was up and getting out at 10 the next morning. This was just a place to sleep for the night and nothing else. Well when went to return the key the owner had to go check the room and come back and said that we had stole towels from the room. He would not give the deposit back. We never even used any of the towels and wasn't really even in the room long enough. But why take a towel instead of the TV. Then the housekeeper that has known me for years told the owner that she didn't even know who I was. The people at this place are very rude and have very bad attitudes. I will never be back to this place again. I will go pay 200 dollars a night for a room before going back here. And hope anyone/everyone else sees this and keeps for going here to have the bad experience that we and my partner have had.
