Great place to have a celebration/event . Ran by CARD and it's always well maintained. Beautiful view of the Cal Park lake and lots of wildlife to see.

The interior spaciousness of the floor and the exterior scenery are what sell this place really well. The positives go without saying but here some legitimate cons:
- Outside patio lighting is minimal.
- The staff are a bit challenging to work with, not rude, just hard to coordinate with.
- The speakers are good for those on the floor and no where else in the building so plan seating accordingly.
- If you're having a wedding, the "getting ready" are nothing fancy, one mirror in each and shared spaces for storage.
- Geese will poop on the sidewalk; guaranteed.

Went to this for a princess Ball with my daughter. The place was clean, had a nice view of the lake, and the staff was very friendly.

If you are going to an event that they provide food to you, make sure you snack on something before you go. They admitted they made a mistake as they aren't a catering service, so they ran out of pasta (main course) for me and my daughter and about 20 or so people. They gave us codes to get either an event or food comped (haven't checked it out yet). Overall a great experience though.

Nice venue, looks like one large room, but center is in a lower level. So at the same time feels like it can be an awkward arragement or very creative opportunity. It does have security and if going for the 1st time it's possible to miss the turn off since venue is a back.
