What can I say....... Spectacular!!!! The place was beautiful decorated, when guests started entering the ballroom you could hear the wows, the Bride, now my wife was super super happy, so thats what is all about, you know if the bride is happy everything was perfect. The food was great too. Raul worked the whole wedding and directed everything, he is a master at planning the weddings.

All guests where super happy and we had a great night. If you see the flowers, a lot of people said they where fake and went to touch them and you should see their faces when realized they where real....I have never seen flowers more beautiful than those at my wedding.

So thank you Raul for everything you did for us and making my new wifey sooo happy.

I loved my wedding at La Jolla Ballroom! The wedding service was amazing. The initial preparation for my wedding was great with the help of Yanel and Glorimar! The day of my wedding was even better! The service was very professional! I had no complaints from guest. The appetizers were very delicious. Although my husband and I did not enjoy the main course our guest on the other hand did! My guest enjoyed all three food options we provided especially the vegan option. They also, we’re very understanding with the additional changes I made to my package. I had a outside DJ, I went with a different floral company, and I asked for permission for a food truck for a late night bite for my guest. They accommodated all the changes without a sweat. In the early stages I was nervous about going with them because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my Haitian culture and we were able to bring it to life!

Thank you Raul and staff for doing such an amazing job last night at our annual Christmas company party. The appetizers, main dish, drinks and service were fantastic! Place looked beautiful and festive. Everyone had a great time and commented how good everything was. My company hosted a corporate event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the firm at La Jolla and it could not have gone better. Raul was an absolute pleasure to work with, extremely proactive, competent, and attentive. Between our firm’s internal team and our PR team there were plenty of event planning professionals involved and still Raul was able to see and execute improvements that made the event very successful. We were surprised at every turn by little additions that took our event to the next level. I have received countless compliments, including from our VIP guests. The space is beautiful inside and out and the food was incredible. It’s my understanding that the Michelin Star chef from the restaurant next door is the one who arranges the food for La Jolla and it’s definitely noticeable. I received very many compliments about just that. Truly I don’t have enough words to recommend this space and this team. My whole team is very very grateful.

La Jolla absolutely blew me away in every way possible. Thank you La Jolla for making a vision of my dream wedding a reality.

I broke down my review into sections:

Wedding Planning: The entire team at La Jolla were amazing. They were so organized and professional it was such a pleasure working with them. However, Yera went above and beyond to make sure I was always taken care of!! He always answered all my calls replied to all my emails super fast and he was always available. Planning a wedding is so stressful but La Jolla and especially Yera took the stress out of planning a wedding. Everything was so smooth sailing I will forever be so appreciative to Yera and La Jolla team!

Food: The food was amazing!! I received about 20 compliments the night of my wedding about how great the food was! Usually wedding food is not very tasty and pretty bland but not La Jolla's food! La Jolla's food was seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Service: The service the day of the wedding was phenomenal! The staff was so attentive and pleasant. They all worked very hard to ensure all the guest needs were catered to. I never and to ask for anything the night of the wedding. It was almost as if the staff could read my mind. My water was always topped off! Because my husband and I were taking pictures during cocktail hour we were not able to attend our cocktail hour. However, La Jolla staff brought the cocktail hour outside to us! This was so nice to have some yummy hors' doeuvres and cold glass of water in Miami's September heat! This was such a nice gesture that shows that La Jolla really does go above and beyond!

Price: La Jolla offered the best price from all the other catering packages we saw. Not only was La Jolla affordable but everything they did was with the upmost quality.

I am so glad I chose La Jolla! They make your dreams come true!!

I just celebrated my wedding in December of 2024 and Raul was an incredible planner, day of coordinator and partner in making our wedding a success! Gracias Raul por hacer de nuestro dia una experiencia tan inolvidable. Te agradecemos por todo. The food and decor was incredible. We also were able to comprehensively create our menu, do our cake tasting and create our song inspirations with the DJ. Overall, we are so happy! It was exactly what we wanted. No words could describe how grateful I am to have had my wedding reception at La Jolla Ballroom. Since the moment I spoke to Yanel Ramos, one their coordinators, I felt instantly peace of mind. She helped me every step of the way, answered every call, email and text no matter the time. The owner Delia was so delightful in helping pick out my linens and chairs. My guests were extremely impressed with The Jolla. The hors d'oeuvre and the food!! O M G The food was amazing! Their DJ as well killed it! My guests were dancing all night!
