What awesome history. We are staying in the park for 2 weeks. Had to check this out. A lot of history. The Rangers were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm from Florida. So, I had to learn the history of this cult. They were very self-sufficient, it seems. We really enjoyed walking around the grounds, looking at all the buildings. They also have walking trails. Benches to sit by the water. We will be back Saturday night for the little concert. The campground is nice. A lot of privacy in between sites. Playground, boat ramp, and kayak launch. Sites have picnic tables and firepits.

Koreshan State Park is a hidden gem in Estero! The trails are beautifully shaded by trees, making it perfect for a peaceful walk or bike ride without worrying about overheating—especially for pets. The park runs along the river, offering scenic views and even kayaking opportunities. It feels very safe with a steady flow of visitors, and I highly recommend taking the historical tour of the old settlement homes on the grounds. It’s a great spot for a weekend hike, a relaxing nature escape, or a fun family outing. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is amazing. We spent about 2 hours walking all over the park, including 2 beautiful nature trails. There were a lot of cool old buildings, machines and tools. Very interesting info about the cult that used to live there. Got a cool T-shirt at the gift shop. Beautiful plants and bridges. $5 entrance fee for one vehicle. We finally saw a gopher tortoise! Looks like a beautiful place to kayak.

This was a really cool park, and rather interesting. I had not known it was there until a friend invited me to come out there, and when we went not everything was open but we still found plenty to do. Lots of beautiful scenery, the nature trail is very long and each part looks different.

We also talked to a gentleman on a kayak and said the river is about a mile and a half long, which was cool.

Definitely plan to come out again and bring friends out to do a photo shoot in the future.

This is a nice, secluded campground that has been here a long time but is now surrounded by shopping & restaurants so there is a lot available. Bonito Beach is only 20 minutes away and Ft Myers Beach is only 30 minutes away as is Naples beaches so fairly quick access to the sand and the Gulf waters. The campground is in the Estero River and there is a kayak / canoe rental place one block away. The campsites are very roomy and private. It's a very low-cost place to stay while being in a nice area. There's a good playground area as well as a boat launch into the Estero River. I highly recommend it!

Love walking thru here, it's a beautiful place, makes you feel your not in the city.. tons of historical information and just really cool place to go, it took me over 3 hours to walk around the community that has been restored, walk the river trails, see the bamboo tree area and even watch the movie playing about Koreshan"" I will say I don't recommend going on a super hot day it gets really hot but with the fall arriving great time to check it out.. also they accept volunteers if your in the mood there is info.to contact if your interested... I'd give more than 5 stars if I could great way to pass a day!

A beautiful park with an interesting history. Unfortunately our campsite was sand. This made it difficult to keep the inside of our RV clean.

Quiet . Peaceful. Charming. 3 great words to describe this park. We camped for a few nights. Went kayaking on the estero river. Walked some trails. Rode our bikes through the estero preserve. Had a great time. Campgrounds are excellent ! So we'll kept! Hats off and a big thanks to All the folks who take care of the park and facilities! The bath house and restrooms were always spotless. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay !
