Everyone's life is different. Everyone's experiences are different. Why do you insist on people fitting into Kivas little box? So if someone's struggles in life are not what KIVA considers struggles then they don't count? Everyone's definition of what is trauma is different. Don't tell me I have trauma if I don't see it that way. It's my life after all. For a place against stigma, you create a LOT of stigma.

For an organization that wants to uplift people and make sure to avoid retraumatizing people, they really do a lot to push People down. You don't have to be in a clinical model but shaming me for being grateful for my clinical team that saved me is wrong. All recovery should count no matter how one got there.and KIVA is too much like a one view cult and if you don't believe exactly as they do, you become ostracized.

Did not receive peer mutuality while coming off of being forcibly sectioned. Stopped paying me without talking to me about FMLA, LOA, or anything. Shameful. Told me not to come back to our respites and then yelled at me when I got of inpatient. Was told I was not thinking of coworker feelings.
