Val and Kevin are truly some of the nicest people I've met. Between the organization from Val before and during the wedding and Kevin's ability to officiate an awesome ceremony, these two have a gem of a venue located just a little north of Reno. The scenery and location make it a beautiful place for a wedding.

Val and Kev were some of the most amazing people I worked with during my wedding. It was such a smooth process. Val is so easy to communicate with and very responsive. I felt very cared for and I could tell that they were passionate about my vision for my big day! They were very accommodating to what o wanted and willing to work with me. They worked very hard on the day of and Val and Kev handled everything perfectly! They are so kind and generous people. It was such an amazing experience and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get married out there!! Loved them, and loved the venue!!

The biggest thing was that our caterer ran out of food. Kev found out and immediately drove to a restaurant nearby and bought himself more food to feed the rest of people and extra for seconds. He called our cater after our wedding and got it all straightened it all out for us! They were amazing!!

There will never be enough words to describe how much my husband and I appreciate our experience working with Val and Kevin. We initially picked Kinship Ranch, because this was the only venue that didn't treat us like a business deal, was absolutely stunning, and that made our families feel welcome on the initial tour. This continued the entire process. I highly recommend hiring Val in some capacity as a wedding planner. She is diligent, prompt when answering questions and always in your court. As for Kevin, he thought of set-up aspects and photo points that I wouldn't have been able to catch. Together, they are the dream team and when an unexpected snowstorm hit on our wedding day, they never stopped at doing whatever it took to still host Justin's and my special day. I would recommend them a million times over! Book with Kinship and you will have the wedding of your dreams.

My son got married at Kinship Ranch this weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The owners were incredibly kind and organized. From the rehearsal the day previous to cleaning up at the end of the wedding, it was beyond my expectations. This whole experience felt as if we were dealing with family, someone who truly cared about my son and daughter in law and shared their vision for the wedding. The venue is of course beautiful and the pictures taken there are amazing!

Val and Kevin are the most hands on venue owners I've ever met, and not only take care of you & your guests with whatever you need, and are there helping day of, but truly treat their vendors with the utmost care. They always greet you with open arms, make sure we are fed, and literally golf cart me & my couples around for the best sunset spots.

THEY'RE THE BEST.

Not to mention they're always getting down with you on the dance floor. I can't recommend them enough. Val and Kevin - I love you guys & can't wait to work with you again!!!

When we did the first meeting to book Kinship Ranch we knew right away this was the perfect place for our wedding. Val and Kevin were amazing at showing us the venue. When we booked we were so excited and couldn’t wait to have our wedding there. We were also able to do our engagement photos here and we were able to set up another visit as it got closer to our wedding day.

We booked Val as a wedding planner and coordinator for the day of. Val from the moment we booked her was great. She always got back to me extremely fast. Communication was fantastic and she made sure I knew if I needed anything she was there to help. We set up a FaceTime meeting to go over things and ensure we were all on the same page. As it got closer to our wedding day Val and I talked a lot to ensure everything I had questions about was answered. She wanted to make sure I wasn’t worried about anything on the wedding day and that’s exactly what happened. She took care of everything and I could not thank her enough for all her hard work on our special day.

We booked Kevin as our officiant and he did a phenomenal job. His speech was great and we were both in tears of happiness during the cememony. Everything was more than perfect and we are SOOO happy we had Kevin officiant. Kevin did so much more than just officiant, he was an amazing help to our wedding. He assured everything was going to be perfect and nothing was going to get in the way.

Our wedding at Kinship was breathtaking and I want to relive the moment forever. The ceremony site on the pond was beautiful and the 7 foot love letters were my favorite part. The way Val set up the desserts on the truck and the welcome table set-up could not of been more perfect. Val recommended other vendors and we could not of been happier with their services. From the staff to the venue it was everything we wanted and more. There’s nothing that I regret from booking this venue. We wanted the rustic barn wedding and that’s exactly what we got. Val and Kevin went above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work to make sure our wedding was absolutely stunning. We highly recommend this venue for anyone who is looking for that rustic barn feel. You will not go wrong with Val and Kevin. We give them five stars!!!

I truly cannot put into words how PHENOMENAL Kinship Ranch is. The venue is hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever had the pleasure of stepping foot on. However, what makes Kinship Ranch so special is Val & Kevin and their family. Kinship Ranch was the first wedding venue we looked at, and as soon as we were greeted by Val & Kevin, we knew their ranch was going to be our venue. We hired Val as our coordinator and it was the BEST decision I could have made. She truly made the wedding planning manageable and so fun because she assured me my vision would come to life and everything would be perfect. And it was. Val is truly one of a kind. She goes above and beyond to make everything LITERALLY PERFECT. She is so hard working, and a joy to be around. She’ll even join you on the dance floor for some extra fun!! We hired Kevin as our officiant and allowed him to surprise us with how he’d do our ceremony. He made it so unique to us and our story, it felt so personal. He made our ceremony unforgettable. Kevin also made us a cross arch that we get to keep forever. The craftsmanship of the cross is unbelievable and was truly beautiful. The rest of the Kinship Ranch family is just as wonderful. Denise helped me get on the back of my dad’s Harley before the ceremony and made sure my dress was secured and wouldn’t get caught. She calmed me down as the nerves were getting to me. Truly a genuine, kind person. And to make it even better, Kinship Ranch staff have golf carts to take people to and from their cars to help with the walking and keep people comfortable. I cannot mention enough how AMAZING Kinship Ranch is, along with the people who put their entire hearts and soul into making wedding dreams come true. If you’re in search of a wedding venue, check out Kinship Ranch. They truly are fantastic. What other venue would allow the bride to ride in on the back of a motorcycle to the ceremony?!?! Thank you Kinship Ranch for allowing us to create a vision and making our dream wedding come to life. We are forever grateful to have had our wedding with you all, and got life long friends out of it too! We love you Kinship Ranch!

I visited this venue as a MOH and there is not a venue out there that can deliver like this team did. From the moment my friend picked this as their venue the owners Val and Kevin were absolutely amazing. Val was a perfect coordinator, she knew exactly what the brides wedding vision was for their wedding and delivered it better than they could have imagined. She was such a joy to be around and kept the night alive! Kevin also was the best officiant and team player, he knew how to speak to the couple and did great behind the scenes! Honestly I can keep writing about everything, how beautiful the venue was, how every guest said that was the best and most beautiful wedding they’ve been to, but I think you just need to book them for your wedding venue to experience it for yourself. It wasn’t even my wedding and I fell in love with the venue myself. One of a kind.
