Keith and his team were the fairy godmothers of my wedding day. A month before my wedding the original planner had a conflict and I was introduced to Keith during our final meeting with the venue. Wow! Keith and his team are truly amazing. I was a nervous wreck planning my wedding. Not only did we have Covid as a factor, but we had family traveling in from Brazil which added an extra layer of stress to our September wedding. Without Keith, we never would have had the successful, perfect and blissful wedding that we did. Keith held my hand every step of the way. He was very organized, concise and honest, which meant a lot to me with a very Type A personality that thought I could plan & execute the entire wedding myself. (haha! There is no way I could have!) Keith came in about a quarter of the way through our wedding planning and really helped us by connecting us to vendors, filling in gaps that we had in our attempt at self-planning, and making the experience feel fuller and easier. We were supposed to get married April 4, 2020, so you can guess what happened next.

Though I know Keith was incredibly stressed by the changes caused by the pandemic, he was our rock during these times with regards to how we would pull off a postponed wedding. He rly took over at this point, helped us move the date with all the vendors, navigate the complicated negotiations that came about in the messiness of pandemic event planning, and get through some minor and major hiccups. I really feel that a wedding was too much work for us as a couple, too many moving parts, and the pandemic magnified that 10-fold. Keith's help was enormous during this time and he was calm and non-combative throughout.

Come the actual, very postponed event and it was stunning. I noticed that Keith went above and beyond bringing decor from his collection to amplify the space we had. I will not forget how incredibly colorful and wistful the dinner space looked with his work. And, if I'm honest, there were more than a few hiccups the day of the wedding (mostly not Keith's fault or even our staff's fault), but we barely noticed them as Keith toiled in the background to make things go smoothly, and I'm sure our guests noticed none. These things happen of course!

What I feel Keith was best at was what we might call "customer service." He was always calm, supportive, excited, and accepting during a long period of anxiety for us. He always met us at our taste/style though making good suggestions throughout and demystified a lot of the weirdness of event planning for us. If I have any negative, it's probably just that in the run up to the wedding (say the last couple weeks) I felt like I lost some check-ins with him, I think because of inordinate busy-ness from some other events. But day of he was super on it, so I don't think much of it and we've felt so thankful to him throughout.

I also want to say that as a gay couple, it meant a lot to have a gay planner, who helped us make the wedding feel nontraditional but still smart and elegant and fun.

Thank you Keith for everything and I hope we never drove you too crazy.
