KB Events is the best!

My wife and I had our wedding at Rincon Creek Ranch and the venue recommended Katie and Adam. I’m so happy that they did. They made wedding planning easy and made sure our day flowed well. For most people, it’s your first time planning a wedding, so having an expert time who’s done it many times is invaluable. From recommending great vendors or managing those relationships, they made sure our day went smoothly. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was top notch.

Many guests and those in our wedding party even commented on how calm Katie and Adam remained throughout the event. We highly recommend KB Events to plan and execute your wedding. Great communicators, immense industry knowledge, and they’re super nice people to boot.

Hannah and the KB Events Team were my rocks throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the very first meeting we knew we were in good hands! We had a major hiccup in our planning process and had to pivot and find a new venue for our reception, and when I told Hannah she immediately responded with reassurance and provided several solutions! Wedding planning was stressful but each meeting gave me peace of mind. The communication was clear and the timeline was easy to follow. We were always aware of our deadlines and not once felt rushed or out of the loop.
Once our wedding party met Hannah and the team they were enamored! We all loved her energy for the wedding weekend and even snapped several photos with her to commemorate. The venue staff even commented how she was one of the best planners/coordinators they’ve worked with. I truly cannot recommend KB Events more, I know if I were to plan any event in the Santa Barbara area in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services!

As a wedding photographer, my job is to be present on the day, lead my couple seamlessly, and to build the trust with them to capture the most important day in their lives alongside the entire vendor team. I’ve had the pleasure of working with KB Events on so many weddings, and they consistently elevate the experience for both the couple and the entire vendor team. One of the things I appreciate most about working with them is their ability to create a timeline that not allows for moments to breathe, but creates space for couples to be fully present and enjoy every second of their wedding. As the statement goes, this day goes by in the snap of a finger, and KB events is the team you want on your side to make sure you enjoy every aspect, not only on your wedding day, but through the entire planning process.

Hannah is absolutely AMAZING!!! She was so kind and organized and made me excited to plan the wedding.

Her recommendations of vendors were outstanding and the way she organized our vision was so easy to follow. Every encounter with Hannah was pleasant, cheerful, and enthusiastic. She also was sure to review every little detail of the wedding and helped us craft our dream day.

Throughout our wedding, Hannah made sure to keep us on track without making us feel rushed. Hannah has a true gift for what she does and we were so lucky to know her. She came into our lives when we really needed and Hannah and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We had our wedding in October at the Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara and were referred to KB Events by the venue. I could not recommend them enough and am so grateful I had them leading the charge for our wedding.

Hannah was our Lead Planner and made the entire planning process and day-of simple and seamless. Her can-do attitude, chic recommendations and incredible organizational skills made our wedding go off without a single glitch (at least that I was aware of 😉 )!

On one of our first meetings, Hannah told me to give all of the stress that comes with planning a wedding to her, so I did! I felt stress-free the entire process and even on my wedding day knowing that Hannah was in charge. She is so capable and confident and absolutely crushed the event and managed not only our vendors, but also our guests with grace.

I wish I could get married again to plan another banger of a wedding with Hannah & KB Events!!

Katie, Adam and the KB Events team made our dreams come true.

When my now-husband (!) and I decided to get married in California - where I’m originally from and where my family still lives - we were daunted by the prospect of planning a wedding from the other side of the country (we live on the East Coast). That trepidation dissipated as soon as we contacted KB Events.

We had talked to a few other individuals and companies in the early stages of exploring the possibility of hiring planners to help with our wedding. None of them treated us with the care and respect that Katie and Adam did when we first spoke with them, before we had even signed a contract. We knew they were really something special when, in the time between my inquiry email and our introductory call with them, they had already managed to place a soft hold on our first choice venue, on our first choice date - a venue that to this point, we had not been able to get ahold of! They made us feel like their only clients - a theme that carried through until our wedding day. They listened to what we were looking to do and offered ways to make it happen. Katie and Adam prioritized taking our ideas and making them a reality. I really wanted to highlight the charm of Santa Barbara with our wedding details, and the final result was better than I could have ever imagined (the lemons! The olive oil! The TROLLEY!)

Katie and Adam laid out a timeline for all the key milestones we would need to hit leading up to our wedding, accounting for every major (venue, date, florist) and minor (silverware selection, placement of napkins) detail. They served as the primary point of contact for each of our vendors, which paved the way for us to spend less time fretting about administrative details and more time making decisions.

The best compliment I can give Katie and Adam is that, throughout the 18 months we worked with them to plan our wedding, we never once felt stressed. They were proactive to keep us on deadline and help us stay ahead of budgeting, which allowed us to enjoy every aspect of the wedding planning process – something we recognize not everyone can say about their wedding planning experience.

It may sound cheesy, but we consider Katie and Adam our friends now, and we can’t wait to continue bugging them to hang out with us whenever we’re in town.

They were able to quickly identify the appropriate vendors for our needs and price point and get accurate quotes. From the hair stylists to the DJ to the caterer, every vendor we worked with commented on how lucky we were to be under Katie and Adam’s care and how easy it was to work with them.

Our daughter just got married in CA and we live in TX. Hannah and KB Events were amazing and the wedding day came off without a hitch. It was SOOO helpful to have them help plan the wedding from across the country and I’d seriously consider “importing” their team to wherever either of our remaining daughters gets married. They were that good! 5 out of 5, would highly recommend!!
