I highly recommend Kayla Huston Events! I booked her as a month of coordinator and I honestly couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her. Kayla Huston and her Company are absolutely amazing!
When we first met she was professional, prepared, engaging and highly motivated. I was not only interviewing her to be my event planner but she was also engaging me to insure a fantastic working relationship.
I was planning a surprise 55th party for my wife with a guest list of over 300 people and I had never done anything like this before. Her experience with the amazing showers & weddings she produces was perfect back ground for my event.
She immediately made me feel much better about this monumental event; she created an event planner with a check list and timeline that I could watch as the event time approached. Kayla reviewed all contracts with the venue and vendors; decorations, floral, cake, photography, DJ, Photobooth, etc. She has fantastic vendor contacts and her strong relationship led to discounted pricing in many cases. I loved the fairness of my contract with her Company; she did not take a percent from the vendors and this kept her motivated to keep my costs down. Other event planners I interviewed wanted up to 20% of my contracted prices. Kayla saved me thousands! Kayla helped develop a color palate for the event and drafted an excellent floor plan (seating, dance floor, decorations, DJ, Photobooth, bars and food presentation). She took control of managing my Evite guest list and putting together a fantastic photographic montage for our video loop. She helped me develop our catering menu and went to the tasting with me which was incredibly helpful.
She helped me keep my “books” straight as final vendor payments were due and educated me on proper tip etiquette as appropriate.
On the day of the event she showed up before anyone else; she made sure every vendor placed each item in its proper place. Her team assured the entire event went perfectly and it was an absolutely huge success. Now while I am an avid Florida Gator fan I must give this FSU graduate the highest of my recommendations without any reservations. Simply put Kayla Huston is a professional who knows event planning better than anyone else. She creates perfect memories for a lifetime!
