It amazes me how often we meet other locals and even natives who have never heard of Bunche Beach. Our family LOVES visiting this beach thanks to its abundant wildlife (sand dollars, birds, otters, manatee, fish) and calm waters. Our 12 & 9 year old can handle their tandem kayak very well when we paddle too, so it’s a great family outing in our beautiful SWFL outdoors. If we’re not bringing our own yaks or boards, we rent from the awesome Kayak Excursions employees. They do all the hard work so you can enjoy your paddle. They’re so friendly, informative, and helpful. We highly recommend visiting Bunche and paddling the beautiful mangroves!

I had a great time. The setting was beautiful and it was a unique experience kayaking through mangroves. Customer service was outstanding as well. Price is very reasonable - highly recommend!

Took a guided tour with Sam today and was a peaceful, entertaining, educational way to spend the afternoon. “You’re at the mercy of the water and the wind.” The mangrove tunnel was holy space. Thanks for the joy of the afternoon on the water. We will remember the lightening welk; conch; red, white, and black mangrove and their salty leaves.

Overall, I was disappointed. We saw nothing unusual. We wanted to see manatees, but were unable to reach the area due to low tide. In fact we were thwarted by low tide several times and had to turn around in narrow mangrove trails and go back. I would not go on this tour again. On the positive side, it was a beautiful February day and I enjoyed being out in the sunshine.

Did a 3 hour eco tour with Cayla, she was a great guide very knowledgeable and could spot a bird a mile away. Beautiful mangrove tunnels well worth a few hours.

Great kayak trip into the mangrove canals and bay at Bunche beach! Time just flew by during our morning paddle. Then we enjoyed the beach on a beautiful 74 degree afternoon. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

The kayak experience from Bunche beach was great fun. Plan on spending extra time looking for dolphins and manatees and hanging out on the beach. Chase did a great job taking care of us and explaining the route
