Kay El Bar Guest Ranch is seriously the place to go if you're looking to chill out and escape reality. It's perfect for solo travelers, couples or bringing the family along and just unplugging from everything. The vibes are on point—totally relaxed and loaded with energy.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or hopping on a horse for the first time, it’s safe and welcoming for everyone. Shout-out to Kylee, the ranch manager, who keeps everything running smoothly with her superior leadership. And Brady, one of the best wranglers around, adds a ton of charisma and skill to the whole riding experience.

Honestly, Kay El Bar Guest Ranch leaves you feeling revived and it’s the kind of place where you want to keep coming back for the good vibes, magical landscape, unforgettable rides, and some of the best people around.

Kay EL Bar Ranch is conveniently located just under an hour and a half from the Phoenix airport. However, you feel so far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Kay EL Bar is a charming, simple ranch that has everything you want out of a dude ranch vacation. The staff and wranglers are such an outstanding crew and our vacation wouldn’t be as amazing without them. Thank you especially to Ky and Brady for making our trip so memorable and unforgettable. In addition, thank you to John Blue and Keith for preparing food that left us very full and even happier. The food was so delicious and plentiful. Who knew horse back riding worked up such a big appetite!
The horse back rides were beautifully scenic and Ky and Brady were great the teach us history lessons, tell us about to local vegetation and give us the lay of the land. We also got to enjoy archery and shooting during our stay! The activities were so much fun and the days flew by with our full agenda. We were so lucky to have vacationed with some amazing guests from around the country/globe and everyone had such great reviews of the ranch. We will absolutely be returning, but hopefully next time for longer! Thank you again to the entire Kay EL Bar crew.

Unreal vacation experience! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dude ranch vacation or just a fun getaway. The staff is amazing, the food is great, and the activities are so much fun. The horse riding, even for a beginner like me, is awesome and the wranglers are there to coach you and make you feel comfortable the entire time. The shooting was also great. Between the staff and the people we met, this will be an unforgettable vacation and I definitely plan to go back at some point in the future. For families, couples, group trips, or even individuals….Kay El Bar is a 10/10

Love the location as I can drive there in 1:20 minutes from Chandler. Town of Wickenburg is very cool with great western history. Kay El bar Ranch has improved under new owners and manager. I did the “All American plan “which includes all meals, activities and room. The Wrangler selected horses for me that fit my riding ability. We had great trail rides(4)from 1:30 to 2 hours. Everything is western at this ranch including the decor of the rooms, lodge,dinning rooms and dust. Take your family for an unforgettable vacation.

10 of us (extended family), from ages 19-85 spent several days at Kay El Bar ranch, including Thanksgiving. From Kylee, the manager, to all the wranglers and chefs, we had such a wonderful time. Great horseback rides, cow penning & sorting (fun & funny!), 3D archery, shooting, UTV ride, hot tub - we did it all. One evening, Jay (wrangler) got out his guitar and sang for us around the firepit. So many special memories were made! Kylee, Jay, Justin & Ky were all so helpful, friendly and FUN to be with! We weren't quite ready to go home.....||Chefs Keith and John made delicious meals and appetizers (still thinking about that bison-huckleberry? sausage....). They "fueled" us well for all the activities!||In the bar/lounge area there are plenty of games and books to borrow.||We came from the east coast, so keep in mind this is a dry, dusty desert climate. Bring your moisturizer and lip balm.||Some of us had been on a horse before, some had not. It didn't matter, there were horses for all levels.||Thank you to the whole crew for handling our family of 10 so well!

I had only a short stay at the ranch but I can highly recommend it especially to those whi like to ride. Meals are delicious and consumed together with all other guests. The lounge is great. You won’t need a TV that cannot be found anyhow. I really enjoyed a great UTV tour to the desert, too. We even had a camp fire lit at night.
