Where do I begin? Rarely does the actual party/event live up to what you envisioned in your mind - but that is exactly what happened with Karen and Co planning my 50th Birthday Party! You felt like you were stepping back in time to an authentic speakeasy - complete with a gatekeeper and required password, gambling tables, 1920’s band, along with antique furniture to add comfort and period appropriate decor! Most importantly, everyone had an absolute blast and I was able to leave the worry, planning, and execution to Karen and her fabulous team. When your event is too special to leave any detail to chance - let Karen and Co make your event as special as mine!

I struggle to find the words to describe how incredibly grateful I am that we had Karen & Co to help us plan our dream wedding. Karen is an absolute professional with a personal touch that makes wedding planning enjoyable - believe it or not! I was a relatively hands-off bride; I don’t consider myself to be particularly creative and my schedule as a medical student didn’t allow for much DIY-ing. After a couple of meetings with Karen, my husband and I had conveyed a vague vision for the day and put our trust into Karen and her team wholeheartedly. With that being said, Karen was also very respectful of our wishes and ran all decisions by us to ensure that they aligned with our goal for the day - which was really just to have an epic party celebrating with 200 of our nearest & dearest. She was incredibly patient and flexible with changes to the schedule (we had to postpone a year due to Covid!) and never pushed us into anything. The day of the wedding was nearly stress-free. Karen coordinated with our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly and handled the inevitable day-of bumps with grace and poise. I was so awestruck walking into the ballroom on our wedding day - everything was perfect and even more beautiful than we had envisioned. Don’t hesitate to hire Karen & Co to help you plan your event - it was the best decision we could have made!

From vendor selection & coordination to detail management day of, Karen worked with us to develop and execute our revised vision for that special day. The end result was beyond out expectations. Karen planned a “special birthday” event for me. She handled every detail, from creating the mailing list, sending out invites and tracking responses, to creating photo opportunities, decorations, the menu, and the beautiful gluten-free cake. I didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Karen is a caring, invested person who brings a bright ball of energy to the festivities so not only is she great to have around, she absolutely has every detail under control. She has a great design eye so her room and table set ups are right on point, she jumps in and helps with whatever is needed with an airy, upbeat and optimistic nature, and she becomes part of the family so you can’t imagine a special event without her!

I was lucky enough to have Karen as my wedding planner in September and words cannot accurately express how amazing of a job she did. I knew she was going to be the perfect planner to work with, but Karen really went above and beyond every expectation I had. She was so helpful, organized, attentive, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. When the actual day of the wedding came around, she had so much to take care of and set up for us that it must have been a crazy 12+ hour day, but you would never guess that because Karen is SUCH a natural and does everything with the most positive energy. To all of the guests, the wedding looked absolutely seamless. Every last thing was perfectly in place and picturesque. Not only is she incredibly skilled and detail-oriented in her field, she was also a very calming presence during a planning process that can oftentimes feel stressful for a lot of brides. When I woke up the morning of the wedding, I felt a wave of anxiety over what felt like everything, but was really nothing at all. I didn’t realize how okay everything was going to be until Karen literally drove 30 minutes out of her way to the Airbnb we were getting ready at to bring me breakfast and calm me down. She was so patient and kind as she talked me through my anxiety; and from that point on, I was able to enjoy the best day of my life. There are a million great things I could say about Karen Ricci, but you’re better off just booking her for your special day to see what she’s all about for yourself.
