My girlfriend and I found this place on accident. Every Thursday we choose a new place in Florida and go on an adventure. Today was our first time in Bokeelia. Wow, what a hidden gem this place is! Awesome service, delicious food, cold beer, great entertainment and an absolutely incredible view and atmosphere. My favorite birds are pelicans and I saw more today than I ever have and closer than I've ever experienced them as well, and we even met the coolest wild dolphin ever named Uno. We can't wait to come back to Jug Creek and bring our families with us to enjoy it as well. I'm so glad we saw this place on Google maps and decided to see what it was

Stopped by on Sunday Jan 6th for great reggae vibes and to get food and brew. We got there around 12:30 pm. The parking lot is not huge just be careful where you park there are a couple reserved spots. One thing to note they do charge you extra percentage if you use credit cards. The place was not that packed, we found two seats at the main bar. The bar maid Brittani came over right away and took our drink order. I ask her for the coldest Miller Lite they had, and my wife wanted a Pina Colada. She stated she could make something close to a Pina Colada, but it would be better. When she brought our drinks back my Miller was the coldest I every had in this area. My wife’s drink was very good, and we must admit we both liked it better than a Pina Colada. I ordered the Blacken Mullet on a Sandwich with Fries and Cole Slaw. The wife ordered the Titanic Pork Nachos. Our food cam out quickly but with such a great vibe and Reggae music playing time went by so fast. My Mullet sandwich was hot and very good, the Fries were fantastic as was the Cole Slaw. My Wife’s Nachos were piled high, hot, and very good. This place was all outside and such a great laid-back vibe. Everybody was friendly including the people sitting around the bar area. Lots of Reggae music playing and the Bar Maids were fantastic especially Brittani. They had a beach right beside the bar where some people were playing Corn hole. There was a small stage set up on the beach where you could hear live music and a second bar on the same beach. We though someone would be playing on that stage while we were there but so such luck. We want to go back to see some live entertainment next weekend if we can. Docks surround the right side of the place with plenty of Pelicans in the nearby water and a fantastic view for you to see. In the second level of the large building, they sold fresh fish and other seafood. If you want Fish go there they will fix you right up. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars for the good food, great bar service and just the best laid-back beachy vibe in the area.

Great spot to stop for a quick drink and snack. Drink are a bit high...12-15 and beer 5 or 6. Live music was excellent. Food was limited but the atmosphere is great. Servers are nice and the ambiance is mellow cool.

WOW! So many changes since 2024.
Welcome to "Bokeelia Beach" where the tunes are great, the food is delicious, and every seat has the perfect view.
I stay in a house just up the road on Tortuga so the traffic is a bit annoying... However, the new tiki bar/restaurant at Jug Creek makes it well worth it. Good cocktails and excellent FRESH seafood and fish. Wonderful bar staff. The staff is friendly, professional, and they know how to hustle when it's busy. Seriously, give these kids a raise. Lol. It's very dog friendly, which I love since I take my dog basically everywhere with me. (More dog notes at the end)
Highly recommend this place!

(Couple side notes. Parking here is a nightmare, there's just not enough space. I'm fortunate enough I stay at a house within walking distance, but if you're driving. Plan to get there early if you want parking)

So dog owners. If your dog is not well behaved and if you can't control it's barking and you can't control their behavior, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG!
This is a very dog friendly place, so there's loads of dogs here.
MANAGEMENT. You need to put rules in place that if people's dogs are not behaving, unfortunately they will have to leave.
The music here is always good. And I have been here multiple times where dogs are continuously barking over the band. It's extremely rude and they should have to leave.

My friend and I found this place through Facebook. We love it! This place is so cool! It’s a marina, fish market, bar, food and music venue! The owner (I wish I would have caught his name) was so friendly. The vibe is really cool and laid back here. The music by Joe Harley was chill and awesome. The food is great too! You must try the potato salad with whatever you order…it’s the best! I am coming back and bringing more friends!

Amazing views. Great food, great staff, awesome entertainment. Real SW Florida inland vibes. If you want to avoid the commercial over done inlands this is your place. Good people, Good vibes and always a great time.

Staff is so welcoming, attentive &friendly. Entrées were very good. Had mixed skewers(shrimp & steak) 1st night. Fish tacos & grilled fish dinner the next. All really great. Live music! This is a laid-back atmosphere...most delightful!

Extremely nice, courteous and overall fun staff, amazing food and drinks. Had the best time hanging out and feeling welcomed. Highly recommend. Bokeelia is a beautiful place.
