If I could give 10 stars I would. Jewel was the first caterer I contacted, we hit it off immediately, we are from New Orleans and planned a destination wedding in Chicago and Greg, the owner had been an exec. chef in NOLA. It was a perfect match. He was incredible, he helped us find our perfect venue (Chicago Cultural Center), and recommend the most amazing flower/ decor company (The Flower Firm). The tasting was fun and delicious. The wedding was extremely elegant with fabulous food. The presentation was beautiful, the tenderloin was cooked to perfection and every detail was looked after! The staff was professional and efficient. We had approx. 140 guests plus vendor meals. They even designed a dessert cart for the bride and groom for NOLA bread pudding and bananas foster. Additional, the grooms side had Jewel to Go cater a groomsmen luncheon the day of the wedding. Additionally, our wedding cake that I bought elsewhere was a complete fail, I called Jewel to see if they could help. When I saw the cake I couldn't believe it, I think they actually baked another layer and iced it for us, no one knew we almost didn't have a cake. It was perfect. Cudo's to Jewel, Greg, Maria, and everyone involved it making the night so magical! You guys are amazing. (I just wish they were in NOLA now for the next wedding :). Thank you again!

We cannot recommend Jewell enough! From start to finish, they were absolutely incredible to work with. The food was nothing short of phenomenal—our guests are still raving about how delicious and beautifully presented everything was. My now-husband and I first contacted Jewell 14 months before our wedding and loved them instantly. From the initial tasting, we were consistently impressed with their professionalism and quality. Everyone we worked with was a delight, both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding (we initially worked with Katherine and then Jennifer in the final stretch before the wedding).

Throughout the planning process, both points of contact were always quick to respond to our queries, on top of any changes we should be aware of, and generally a pleasure to work with. I got a ton of compliments from our guests on both the quality of the food and the quality of the service, and I can't think of a thing I would have changed about their work.

My (now husband) and I booked with Jewell Events Catering probably a year and a half before our wedding. During that 1.5 years, we spoke regularly with Greg Jenkins (President), Hailey, and Maria (the Jewell Catering team) and I can not verbalize enough how helpful, involved and willing to go the extra mile they all were. Greg truthfully felt like an additional day-of-coordinator the way he helped us create our table design, source beautiful chargers and draping, discuss the timeline of the day, and get into the nitty-gritty details of every.single.aspect of the day. Not to mention the food is UNBELIEVABLE. Everyone complimented are food and I'm not shocked it was perfect based on the incredibly attention to detail Greg has. Everything (and I mean to the crumb) is under a microscope with Greg + team, which makes the end product better than you could imagine.

There are not many vendors that you leave the wedding planning process feeling like you are REAL friends, but with Greg and the Jewell Catering team, both my husband and I are genuinely sad to no longer have regular planning meetings with them! Greg + team will show up to the venue with multiple-onsite walkthroughs, coordinate with the venue to resolve issues, and will handle last minute external issues without it coming to us so we can be blissfully happy on our special day.

I never really leave reviews, but I HAD to leave a review for this team as they were the shining star of our vendor list without question. It's also worth mentioning we looked at 10+ caterers for our event and could not be HAPPIER with our choice to go with Jewell. A Chicago wedding is overwhelming and exhausting to plan, but Jewell made it so much easier. Do not question it and do not price shop - BOOK JEWELL EVENTS CATERING.

We had an exceptional experience with Jewell Events Catering! Katherine offered fantastic communication, answered all our questions, and was great at managing the whole thing. The tasting was so fun, my now husband and I were blown away at their professionalism. The day of the wedding we worked with Danielle, who was excellent at making sure everything went smoothly. The whole staff was incredible - I would highly recommend them for weddings, or any other event you might need catered!

Jewell Catering, specifically Jennifer and Hailey, are an absolute dream team to work with. From the moment we met Jennifer, we were in awe of how professional, organized, and responsive she was. She eased all our fears, answered all our questions (and believe me, we had a lot), and was with us every step of the way, including there at our wedding. Jennifer and Hailey handed out tips, cued the DJ, and literally lined up our wedding party to walk down the aisle. That is just beyond the call of duty. The food that Jewell provided was phenomenal and we had so many guests complimenting both the food, the venue and the service.
