I haven’t even left for my cruise yet and they are getting 1 star. I booked a last minute cruise and tried to get a solo balcony , but none were available. As soon as I booked the inside room , the very next day they offered balcony solo rooms for almost the same price I paid. This is all within a week from the cruise. I immediately called to see if I could upgrade. The first two people I spoke to sounded like they could help and took my number. Neither called back. Finally I called for a third time and they said no changes within a week. However, they are making changes obviously because these rooms just became available. Also, they keep saying you get more by booking through jet blue. It’s absolutely untrue. After you book they give you details on free at sea (unlimited alcohol). But once you book they tell you it’s only select cheap alcohols, and no drinks over $15. There’s other things as well but I’m not wasting more time on this. Just don’t be fooled by this division of jet blue. It’s nothing like the airline.

So The following is my email to Jetblue Vacations following my vacation to the bahia principe grand jamaica. The trip was about $25,000. The hotel only gave us 4 of the 6 rooms. Reservation 24380336

we paid for through Jetblue vacations. Jetblue Vacations and the hotel have decided that refunding us just over $1000 dollars and a $500 in Jetblue Vacay credit is fair; you decide if you want to be treated this way. They also decided that i asked to be flown into Kingston Airport 3 hrs away from the resort and would not cover the $625 dollars in travel cost; Montego Bay airport is 40 min away and had available flights for about the same price.

Dear JetBlue Vacations Customer Relations, I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the family vacation I booked through JetBlue Vacations to Jamaica, which was intended to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday and provide a much-needed respite for my father, a retired FDNY firefighter who is currently battling cancer related to his heroic work at Ground Zero following the September 11, 2001 attacks. The trip was also planned for my wife, two young children, 70 year old mother, my sister, and her four children. This was meant to be a special occasion for our family, but instead, it turned into an incredibly disappointing and stressful experience. I was initially assured by the JetBlue Vacations agent that they could assist in planning and booking our trip as a travel agent. However, the vacation turned out to be a complete disaster. I have outlined my specific complaints below: 1. Air Travel and Airport Transfers:
We were booked to fly into Kingston Airport, which is 2.5 hours away from our hotel in Montego Bay. This caused significant inconvenience and extra costs for our family. The transfer from Kingston to the Grand Principe Hotel cost us an additional $400, and the return trip from the hotel to the airport was $225. Although an agent corrected the mistake by switching our return flight to Montego Bay Airport, JetBlue Vacations had initially stated that they would cover the transportation costs to and from the airport, which they did not. This additional expense was unexpected and unfair.2. Accommodation Issues:
We had paid for six rooms at the Grand Principe Resort, but upon arrival, we were only given four rooms. When I raised this issue with the hotel staff, they instructed me to contact JetBlue Vacations. After doing so, the hotel staff falsely claimed that they had provided us with the six rooms we had paid for. This was not the case, and we were forced to accept inadequate accommodations for our family.3. Hotel Staff and Condition:
The staff at the hotel was not only unhelpful but also rude and hostile, possibly due to the fact that workers had recently been on strike (in November 2024) over low wages and poor working conditions. JetBlue Vacations should have been aware of this situation before booking our stay there. The hotel was also in a state of disrepair, with numerous maintenance issues throughout the property, which contributed to a generally poor experience.4. Noise and Disturbances:
The noise levels at the hotel were unbearable, particularly during the late evenings. Loud parties were held well after 10 p.m., which kept my 1- and 2-year-old children awake, disrupting their sleep and making the entire vacation stressful. I have attached files with examples of the disturbances to this email for your reference. Before I take this matter public through online reviews, I want to give JetBlue Vacations the opportunity to make this right. My family, consisting of middle-class civil servants, teachers, and firefighters, invested a significant amount of money into this trip, and it turned out to be a complete failure. The financial burden was already monumental, and the experience was far from the special vacation we were promised. As a loyal JetBlue customer for many years, I am hopeful that the company will take these concerns and make it right.

"Waited over an hour on hold today to talk to someone at JetBlue Vacations about my booking." - was what I posted 2 months ago today, Feb. 5, 2025, which would have been before Dec. 5th, 2024. . I finally got in touch with them today, and they told me I could not cancel my cruise because I would have had to cancel before Dec. 15th. I explained that I've tried a few times over the past couple months to call, but whenever I call, I can't get in touch. Whenever I talk to this company, the associates are rude, combative, arrogant, and they just lie. They say they are not hard to get in touch with, but it's not true. Even if you keep your cool and are professional, they will talk you down, lecture you like they're your parent, and then hang up with you. Probably the worst telephone customer service I've ever experienced in my life from a company. In the end, I just canceled the trip and took a 50% refund just to be done with this company. I'll never book with this company again, and probably won't book with JetBlue ever again either, it's just that bad.

If I could give this new aged ponzi schemed structured style company zero stars I would. They list prices on their site one day and then lower them the following week, knowing that many people who already booked cant take advantage of the new lower prices. Scam artists and crooks. The regulation on airline the industry and their shady loop hole driven business practices needs to be severely tightened and scrutinized more. This will be my first and last time book any vacation with jetblue vacations.

I booked a Curacao vacation with Jetblue Vacations. Personal things came up and I had to change my dates (everything the same , just move it to one week earlier). I called and after a minute wait, a human being picked up; she quickly understood what I wanted, asked my to wait and, after a couple of minutes of clicking on her keyboard, let me know that everyhing is arranged, same class of hotel room, same flights, same type seats (window, front of the plane) and a credit worth 10% of the original price because the price for that week was cheaper. No penalties, no change charges and 'Have a nice vacation' within 5 minutes of my dialing.

I booked a vacation to cruise this on Norwegian Cruise Lines through Jet Blue Vacations. They advertised ā€œFree at Seaā€ on Norwegian, which is known for free unlimited bar and Wi-Fi. However, a day after I booked, I get a call from a JetBlue agent telling me that the ā€œFree at Seaā€ is not actually free. They said ā€œyou need to pay the gratuities otherwise they will not serve youā€. I said, ā€œSo, I get free drinks, as long as I pay a gratuity beforehand?ā€ She said ā€œIf you want to get smart with me, I’m not going to help you.ā€ When I said ā€œexcuse excuse me?ā€she just hung up on me. So, I called Norwegian and spoke with them for 30 minutes, and they were no help. They told me that I would have to talk with the third-party agent that sold us the cruise, which is JetBlue vacations who hung up on me. As a business person in the retail business, I know that the both retailer and the manufacturer are responsible for a faulty product or for false advertising. Norwegian is selling the product. JetBlue vacations is the retailer selling it for them third party. When I asked to speak to a supervisor at NCL, they said I would have to pay $172 to get my gratuity package paid, but JetBlue told me that I had to pay $198. I pointed out that it sounded to me like they were getting a 10% commission for every gratuity package that they sold, so they had a reason to not be totally upfront with the product that they were selling because it sounded to me like I was being sold something that didn’t apply to me. Even now when I look at the confirmation email that I got from JetBlue, the terms and conditions state that if you are on a cruise more than three nights, the ā€œFree at Seaā€ package applies. In Jet Blue’s ā€œterms and conditionsā€, which is nothing more than a hyper link that they can change whenever they want, they direct you to their new program called ā€œMore at Seaā€. But, I didn’t book ā€œMore at Seaā€. I paid for ā€œFree at Seaā€. Even the supervisor at NCL told me that ā€œMore at Seaā€ was for bookings in 2025, and I am sailing in 2024. But they still wouldn’t give me the ā€œfree drinksā€ unless I agreed to pay gratuities in advance. Seems like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen to me.

Just got back from a 2 week vacation in Riviera Maya and must say the whole trip with Jetblue was very good. We liked the complimentary snacks and soft drinks, the free wifi and many movies/tv shows on board of the plane. We left on time and landed earlier!! They keep you posted that your luggage is loaded or unloaded and our transfer (MTS Global) was very professional and on time.
I do recommend Jetblue to anyone..
