We recently hiked the Dunn’s Farm trail and part of the Pioneer trail. Trails were clearly marked along the way. Hats off to the forest rangers who maintain these trails, bridges and signage. I was surprised to see how well it was all maintained. Really enjoyed the trails and was surprised by the small waterfalls. Fun family outing with the dog. Very quiet, picturesque and peaceful. We’ll be back soon.

Always a good place to go for any easy family hike. Or an all day or overnight hike.

This is a very peaceful and pretty place to hike and camp. We camped at the Hammock Campground. There's a 15 minute drive on a dirt road back to the campground, so it's better to have a SUV or something bigger than a car. The campground is surrounded by pine trees, it's really pretty!

Camped a second time at Bootleggers in Jennings State Forest. I love it out here. Eight primitive campsites are big, and for most of them, provide just enough privacy between sites. Each site contains a framed spot for a tent, standing grill, fire ring and picnic table. Composting bathroom at entrance is clean. This time around, small game hunting was pretty prevalent so we opted not to hike. We drove miles of dirt roads to nowhere instead, and loved exploring. Saw deer, and turkeys. Heard owls, hawks and coyotes. I'd like to explore more of Jennings and can't wait to return!

This is a place where you can get some fresh air and sunshine along with a bit of exercise if you want to hike a little. It isn't way off the beaten path. The trails are really well kept and the trails for horse back riding are plenty wide in most places to ride side by side, leashed pets are also welcome, but pack your own water for them because the water there isn't drinkable...It also offers a place where you can watch wildlife from an elevated platform while resting in the shade... My dogs love it there and although we have rarely seen any wildlife you can hear it all around you and weirdly traffic sometimes too . There was a small cost of 2$ to enter the park the last time I was there but I think it's an all day thing. Perfect place for anyone who wants to reconnect with nature but doesn't want to go very far...

This park surprisingly has nice elevation transitions for Florida. Lot of work marking trails and maintaining them. One of my favorite spots to hike in the area.
