9/2024 We recently visited Jazel’s Hair Salon and had a wonderful experience! The husband and wife who own the barbershop and salon are incredibly friendly, polite, and courteous. Their warm hospitality made the visit even more enjoyable. The service was great, with attention to detail and a genuine care for customer satisfaction. The salon itself is clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable atmosphere. If you’re looking for a top-notch haircut or styling, Jazel’s Hair Salon is definitely the place to go!

3.2024 Walking through Blanco, TX and my husband needed his hair cut. We had walked by this barber shop💈 several times and decided to stop in BEST DECISION ever. The barber did an amazing job and exactly how my husband likes it, skin and high and tight and for an added bonus he trimmed up his eyebrows and lined up his beard and mustache. If you all are ever in the area make sure to stop in!

I had seen a young woman's haircut and asked where she had it cut and found this gem. After driving all the way to downtown Austin all these years, I was surprised to find this place almost next door. She did such a fantastic job, better than I have had in over 30 years for long hair. She cut it shorter than I usually get it, but it looks and feels fantastic. I highly recommend this very friendly lady's shop. She and her husband can offer any style haircut you need.

Outstanding barber and barber shop! Aldo, the barber and owner does a great haircut the old fashioned way. He uses an electric hair razor and a straight blade to give the haircut extra special trimming.
Aldo pays attention to the details that make the haircut outstanding.
He uses the straight edge razor on the back of the neck and takes care of any other hairs that need to be cut.
His hair tonics and shaving cream is excellent and the after shave smells great (kind of like a bay rum fragrance).
He is highly recommended if you need to get an excellent haircut!

The haircuts are good enough, and inexpensive, but maybe after a dozen haircuts and extremely generous tips (typically 50%), the barber might give some sign that he recognizes me, or my head of hair, and not look at me like he's never seen me before. But hey, I only get haircuts here, so a barber devoid of personality isn't really a problem. Maybe I have to live in Blanco for 20 years to be accepted? As for "best in blanco" reviews, it is about "the only in blanco." Last haircut I drove several miles away to get a haircut in a mobile home structure (not a home, set up only as a barber). A bit more expensive, but very professional cut.
