I am incredibly grateful to Ivory Events for their outstanding support throughout my wedding planning journey. From the start, Earlie was there every step of the way, guiding us through design, vendor selection, and all the details that matter. As we approached the big day, Earlie handled all vendor communication, which was a huge relief for me as a type A bride. Her kindness and continuous support throughout the entire process put me at ease and made wedding planning fun, exciting, and enjoyable!! During the final few months of planning, Kourtney and continuously went out of the way to make all of our wedding fairytale dreams come true. On the day of, they truly alleviated all of my stress and ensured everything ran smoothly. I couldn’t have done it without Earlie, Kourtney, and Dawn! Ivory Events did an amazing job with our Indian fusion wedding weekend in Denver! Kourtney and Earlie were the main planners for us and they really made sure we felt cared for and that every detail was covered (and with an Indian wedding that's a lot of details!). They helped us manage our Sangeet, Hindu wedding day, American wedding day, and finding my henna artist for my Mehndi-Bridal Shower.

They recommended incredible vendors for us earlier in our planning process; truly could not have asked for a better team and they were the reason we found most of our vendors! In the months closer to our wedding they made detailed timelines, communicated details to our vendors, and met with us frequently to ensure we felt good about everything.

The events themselves went incredibly smooth thanks to them. We had many guests, wedding party members, etc that said our multi-day wedding went more smoothly than most one day weddings. Kourtney and Katie were valuable helping hands and caught everything during each event - I'm sure there were problems for them to solve, but I was not aware of them because they kept the groom and I stress-free!

My daughter hired Ivory Events a year ago -for her wedding a week ago-and we thank our lucky stars every day that she did! Honey and her wonderful crew-Camille, Karla and Earlie were our saviors! They not only helped with countless details, suggested wonderful vendors and put out major fires with our hotel venue…..but, their genuine kindness and concerns for our needs shone through time and time again. They went over and above anything required. I told them that the wedding would have been disastrous without them. And I mean that sincerely. Thank you, Honey, for a job well, well done! My husband says a high toast goes to Ivory Events!!!

We worked with Honey and Ivory for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing - prompt with responding to our emails and finding us vendors that were the perfect fit. From the onset of us contacting them to them sending us our proposal, to the wedding day, we were absolutely thrilled. They were organized, upbeat, and kept the entire wedding day on track, making everything so much easier. We couldn't imagine how it would have gone without them. Honey made sure everything flowed perfectly, and her attention to detail meant that everyone, from the vendors to the guests, knew exactly what to do and when, all without a hint of stress. Plus, she fit right in with our family and friends, making everyone feel cared for. She wasn’t just our planner, she was part of the celebration. Highly recommend. My husband was searching for wedding planners all around the state of Colorado and came across Ivory Events. At the beginning I was hesitant in getting one, I truly believed I knew it all and needed no help. What really caught our eye was that they responded straight away! We thought to ourselves that they could help us with the wedding of our dreams and that they would understand everything we wanted to do. My husband wanted things more elegant and I was ok with that! They helped us from the beginning – find the right vendors, communicating all the details and making us feel well taken care of, they knew it all, so they made our timeline super smooth and easy contributing all our musts. They were always there answering my silly questions through text and even on the phone. On our wedding day my husbands button fell off and they brought a sewing kit and sewed it back on his tuxedo. SO HELPFUL ! We are so blessed to have found such an amazing wedding planner, it didn't even seem like we were working together we were more like friends meeting up and laughing and having a great time planning this wedding. I also appreciate their attention to detail. We are so sad to no longer be working with them

3rd October

The vendor doesn’t respond to questions or follow-up inquires. All Honey did was send brochures and pricing after providing an initial meeting date and time. She never showed up. We sent a follow-up email, you know because life happens and we wants to give her grace, but she never responded to our second inquiry. Instead she sent a pricing sheet and asked if we wanted to hire her after she missed our initial phone call. If you can’t show up for the initial meeting, you, Honey, aren’t going to make it to someone’s big day. I strongly would use caution before hiring or interacting with Ivory Events.

We have to admit that were hesitant at first to invest in event planning services for our wedding, but we don't regret going with Ivory Events! We really wanted our wedding to feel laid-back and focus on family and friends spending time together. Honey and her team listened to our vision from the beginning and did not pressure us to make our day more "traditional".
Sarah L. was our lead coordinator and was absolutely fantastic. From the many many emails, walkthrough at the venue, planning meeting, to the the day-of coordination, she went above and beyond our expectations and took care of every last detail. She worked with all our vendors, helped set up and clean up, and most importantly freed us and our family and friends to simply enjoy the night.
If you are getting married at the Lyons Farmette definitely choose Ivory Events and ask for Sarah. She knows the venue and has an expert eye for carrying out your vision (and I'm sure this is not limited to the Farmette!).

Been waiting to write this one for a long time. We got married in September of 2022 and attempted to use Ivory Events and ended up having back out and fire them a couple months prior to the wedding. Honey totally fleeced my wife during her initial interview making promises that went unkept. We spent a couple months trying to make things work and at one point finally had someone great. We had a fantastic experience with Jacqui and finally things started to get done. Just as we picked up steam, we were informed suddenly that Jacqui was no longer with the company. We kept getting passed around and passed around until finally we decided to make a change. It turns out that our event host had a bad experience with this team weeks prior to us deciding to move in a different direction. Ivory events refused to give us our $2k deposit back claiming that they had done that amount of work (even though all they did was send us a list of bands over the course of 3 months). Dumpster fire to say the least. Highly recommend going a different direction if you are planning a wedding unless you like unorganized and doing all of the work yourself!
