I did a half day private tour with Chick and the crew at Island Spirit Kayak. Worth every penny - the staff is outstanding, the gear, service and knowledge of the area is top notch. I can’t wait to go back in September. Thank you Chick for a fantastic adventure!!!

Kayaking here is a physically demanding activity. But if you are able, then do yourself a favor; rent a kayak from this place and explore the water of Oak Bluff and Martha’s Vineyard. I think the pricing was more than reasonable.

My initial 30 minutes with the kayak rental was full of regret. I found out hard way that operating 3 ppl kayak was very very difficult. But after this learning curve, I began to explore different parts of the pond. I began to appreciate all different species of birds. I parked the kayak on an island (Felix wildlife?) and strolling through wild life region was such a unique experience.

I highly recommend the kayaking experience. And it shall start from renting a kayak from this place.

We called for a last minute sunrise tour on a day that wasn't even scheduled for sunrise tours and Island Spirit and Chick came through! Our 10 year olds were first time kayakers and nervous. Chick was calming and reassuring. She's also a wealth of information about the island and the sea. We were pleasantly surprised by an unadvertised stop for snacks and a game of Stump Chick where she was not stumped once by any shell we showed her. And here's the real test of how great it was - the girls asked to go kayaking today (albeit NOT at 4:30am :)).

I had a fantastic kayaking experience! The individualized attention from our tour guide was exceptional. He took us through multiple areas, showcasing the beautiful landscapes around the lagoon. I booked the sunrise tour, and when our Uber backed out at the last minute it looked like we wouldn’t make it in time. After a quick phone call, Chick went out of her way to come pick us up (and drop us off)! Learned a lot about local wildlife and got to enjoy a snack on a secluded beach. Lastly, to be able to kayak on the Atlantic and see the most beautiful sunrise is a memory I’m sure my son and I will have for a long time. Thank you again!

I took my summer staff out with Island Spirit Kayak to celebrate all their hard work this summer. ISK put on a super fun tour filled with beautiful scenery, exciting games, and lots of laughter! Despite a cloudy and rainy day, it was a great experience! Already looking forward to doing this again next season!

Great experience all around. We missed our bus & got there 20 minutes late for our reservation
. I was stressing because I didn’t know what their protocols were. Staff was super laid back & got us in our kayak quickly & we were on our way! I love that they give you the run down & then you go off wherever you’d like!
