Our first round trip on this ferry! Parking was convenient in the lot a block away. We took our eBikes on board to Oak Bluffs and it was easy to board and exit on the outbound trip mid morning. The return trip in late afternoon was quite crowded. A big rush to board, and we ended up without seats. Luckily it a short 40 min voyage. The ship is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. It’s a great way to visit Martha’s Vineyard!

We had a great experience riding the Island Queen to Martha’s Vineyard and back to Falmouth this summer! We bought our tickets ahead of time and the whole process was really easy and the price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend this as a fun day trip in New England!

Trip going was great. The trip back was very crowded and we were packed like sardines waiting for the ferry. There wasn't much more they could do since it was the last ferry of the day, but more seating room while we were waiting would have been nice. The boat itself was comfortable and the crew helpful.

This boat is great in good weather! All open air to enjoy the scenic ride to Martha’s Vineyard ! Very organized company. You don’t need to book ahead, but arrive early and park past the boat in the motel parking lot on the left ! So much easier than Woods Hole if you don’t need your car! Reasonable priced bikes allowed for a small fee!

The Island Queen Company is well organized to handle a large number of travelers. We were ushered into the parking lot ($20/day, cash only) and directed to the open spaces. It is then a walk of less than a hundred yards to the ticket booth and boat boarding. We had a smooth ride to Martha's Vinyard where we spent a few hours taking in the sights. Our return ferry was right on time and loading aboard went well, despite a large group of children day campers. Thanks to the Island Queen for a memorable and safe journey.
