Such a great place to camp. We’ve never stayed in the cabins, so I can’t speak for them. We’ve stayed right around the pond, which is a great location, but it’s more expensive. Recently we stayed on the western side, a row over from I10 and it was really loud with all the traffic. It didn’t bother me, but I figure I might mention it so others know. Their store is cute and has almost everything you could want, though they need more magnets for “island oaks” not just Florida. The pool is heated and they do have a hot tub but it’s 18+. Their food is great and my husband and brother in law enjoyed the bar. We will definitely continue to visit. Sign up with them and they’ll send you deals.

Employees were very helpful and nice. The property was very well kept and clean. The amenities were great. We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. They have activities planned every day, a restaurant, general store, bar & tiki bar. We really enjoyed the live band Saturday night. We will be staying here again in the neat future.

We love Island Oaks! We went last weekend (Nov. 2024) for our first time taking out our travel trailer. The sites are huge and very easy to back into and the hook ups are in convenient locations on the site. The resort is very Family/Kid/Pet friendly.
The amenities are great! There is always something going on for kids and at night they have music, karaoke or live bands. The pool and lagoon are beautiful! My only complaint about the pool is you can't sit in the pool and hold your drink, it has to be on a picnic table away from the edge. The cafe serves delicious food as well.
Overall, Island Oaks is beautiful and we will be back very soon!!

We were here due to a family emergency. The tiny house we stayed in was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the lake with a water fountain. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

My Husband & I stayed this past weekend for a much needed romantic getaway and it was amazing. We reserved the Fireside Friends & we were glad we did. We didn’t have to leave the resort at all. The grounds were beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is wonderful. The pools were beautiful. The food & drinks were very good. We are definitely staying more days next time. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Great Park and Absolutely Amazing for Families. We had a few issues. We got several emails before we got there wanting us to sign their rules. Would have been nice to have gotten an email on directions given that Google Maps took us down a dirt road to get there and they hadn’t placed a sign to say keep going to avoid it. Not the best when 3 of us are traveling together in high end motor coaches. Second issue is pull through sites aren’t adequately layout to be able pull in with 45’ coaches pulling vehicles without unhooking.

We travel full time and I have to tell you, this was one of the best. The amenities are top notch and we had a great relaxing time.

We were displaced because of the hurricanes and they were able to fit us in last minute. The spots were big enough that backing in was super easy.

The pool and hot tub were great

My only criticism is the lack of hours for the pool bar. It was hit or miss. One night they were open until 8 and then on Saturday night it was only open until 4pm. Other than that it was great!

We recently spent 10 days at this resort. The good: Sites were spacious, staff was very friendly, prices were reasonable, great views, clean, great amenities, concrete pad sites and great security gate. The bad: lots of pets with no leashes, beach had a lot of debris from GA vs FL football weekend, gas golf carts, children driving golf carts, the ponds did not always have the fountains on and campers taking vacant sites to park. Staff were not enforcing the rules. Overall: we had a great time! The beach, pool and environment were relaxing. We found every employee to be friendly. We would visit again.
