I’m greatly disappointed with the follow up from a rental that went sour. My group of 5 rented kayaks from Joey and went out on our own. He was very pleasant and friendly and asked us to pose for a picture that he took with his phone. It started out well until one of the kayaks started sinking. We pulled into the mangroves where I pulled the plug (see the picture) and poured out gallons of water from the interior of the kayak. Then we safely got back. Small indiscernible cracks can happen with plastic kayaks. That wasn’t the issue. When I told him what happened he got very defensive and denied that the kayak had an issue. Yet how else does water get into the hull of the kayak. He never sent us the group photo. And upon followup he denied that he ever rented us kayaks. Yet I was texting the same phone number that I booked the trip and the same number that’s on the website. All he had to do was say was “sorry for the inconvenience” and promise to check out the kayak.

I had an amazing experience with Island Breeze Kayak and Paddleboard Tours and Rentals, thanks to their fantastic guide, Joey. He was incredibly nice, friendly, and highly instructive throughout the entire trip. Joey's knowledge and passion for kayaking and paddleboarding added an extra layer of enjoyment to the adventure. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you have the chance to be guided by Joey. You won't be disappointed!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Equipment was in great shape. We, unfortunately, didnt see dolphins or manatees but it was still a fun activity.
