Really enjoyed our visit to the museum. There is a tremendous amount of military memorabilia in it. May be it could do with more room to really display everything. The exhibits were a bit cluttered. Well worth a visit though.
Outside area could be developed more with the likes of actual trenches.

I recently visited the Irish Military Museum in Meath, and it was an incredible experience that I highly recommend to anyone interested in history and military artifacts.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing an excellent introduction to the exhibits. The collection is extensive, covering various periods of military history, from ancient times to the modern era. Each exhibit is meticulously curated, with detailed information that provides context and enhances the experience.

One of the highlights of the museum is the impressive array of military vehicles and weaponry. Seeing these up close was truly awe-inspiring.

The museum is well-laid out and easy to navigate, with clear signage and informative panels.

In addition to the exhibits, the museum offers guided tours that are both informative and engaging. The guides are passionate about the subject matter and eager to share their knowledge, making the tour a memorable experience.

An off the beaten path, jewel of a museum. A very impressive collection of multiple wars munitions, weapons and vehicles well curated and lovingly presented. Some lovely presentations as well on the absolute horrors of war so that those that don't know may have some level of appreciation of why it shouldn't be the option. Well well worth a visit for young and old.

This museum is a hidden Gem just off the N2 in county Meath. There is paraphernalia from every war, Guns, bullets, bombs, tanks, all types of historical military vehicles and equipment, a must see venue. The curator is William Sullivan and a more passionate man on all things military you will never find.
