I went on this cruise after I ate at the restaurant. Excellent local cruise if your trying to plan a day trip. Please note is is an authentic paddle wheel boat. Very friendly staff and the captain is a great narrator.

I was disappointed because I feel as though there were too many people on the boat and not enough seating for all…it seemed like there was a large party of people that probably should have rented out the boat themselves. The staff was great.. the other passengers.. were not the best .. just really crowded.

I don't recommend doing this Cruise unless you book it the day before. I tried changing our days because two out of three of us are sick and they wouldn't budge. There's no insurance you can take either just in case you can't make it. When I called the woman told me there's been people that have had deaths in the family and they don't give back the money or let you change for another day. Pretty sad. Furthermore you can't eat at the restaurant if you're just going on the cruise you have to be on the cruise and have concert tickets otherwise you can't eat at the restaurant.

Celebrated a friends birthday on a cloudy Friday evening. Eight of us sat on the upper deck and had a nice view of the lake and surrounding area. One and a half hour trip ($25 per person)was just enough time to have a couple of drinks and enjoy the scenery. Our captain pointed out a few landmarks and items of interest along the way. No food was available and drinks were fairly inexpensive ($50 for 6 alcoholic beverages).

A low-key local attraction, pleasant and relaxed. Went on a daytime (10am Saturday) lake tour with the extended family. Everyone had a pretty good time.

The open bar and excessive drinking of some of the other patrons was surprising to me, but nobody was too rowdy. Some less than family friendly language was used by other guests - thankfully not an issue for our group - but some with young children had to ask the others to try to keep things a bit more G rated.

Our group enjoyed seeing the lake and "picking out" houses we liked. Some fun facts were given throughout the ride, and seeing the wheels in motion was interesting.

Parking was confusing, since there was a concert the same day. You need to pay for parking if you were there for the concert, but not for the boat trip. It took us a few minutes to explain to the staff at the entrance that we were only going on the boat, NOT attending the concert. Eventually got it straightened out and parked without paying the additional $10.

Went on the margaritaville cruise. Not sure why people rate this experience low unless they don’t know how to have a good time with fun people. The crew members were friendly and welcoming. The 2 person band kept everyone entertained. Great experience everyone should try.

Maybe if they're having a party it's better, but I wouldn't recommend the lake tour. Became sorry about 15 minutes in and considered swimming back just to end it.

The cruise: A beautiful lake and so many lovely homes to see.

The boat: extremely clean, comfortable and easy to board.

The staff:
Mary went out of her way to help my handicapped husband along the beach path and boat ramp. She was very accommodating. She arranged for a golf cart to meet us at the end to make it easier for my husband. She helped the guests by offering to take group pictures for them. She was bubbly and happy. You could tell she enjoyed talking to the guests.

Stu pointed out lots of interesting places along the cruise, told us some historical facts and was able to answer everyone’s questions. He was a very nice man and had a kind smile for everyone.

The Captain was in the wheelhouse, but his sense of humor and knowledge about the sites was fun to hear.

Go..You’ll love it!!
