Thank you Ian Taylor Trekking for a great experience preparing and helping me reach the Roof of Africa at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro! Every aspect of the support provided was excellent starting with the comprehensive suggested training program (follow it - it works!), the "what to expect" and educational information and the detailed suggested gear list (follow it - it works!) provided in "the dossier" they provide in advance. The team in the US was always available for answering questions in the months leading up to our trip, which really helped.

Our team on the ground could not have been better - meeting us at the airport and delivering us to our hotel after a LOONNGG trip from the US to Tanzania, arranging a short tour of Arusha on our free day prior to the climb. Our head guide, Amani, along with guide Moses, chef Jouma and the rest of the support team were absolutely incredible once we got on the mountain. The care and joy with which they approach their work are inspiring and encouraging. And it's clear that they KNOW what it takes and have a proven approach to give each team member the very best opportunity to make it to the top and complete their goal.

A special shout out to the whole Ian Taylor Team for helping me celebrate my daughter's birthday, even though I was thousands of miles on the day it occurred. From a casual mention from me early in the trip, the team baked a cake, arranged a Swahili "happy birthday" song and got the video half way around the world so it could be delivered to my daughter on her actual birthday - incredible!

As a long time Human Resources executive at a Fortune 50 company, I can say that Ian Taylor Trekking is a company with a great culture that truly cares about their clients, their people and the communities in which they live and work. Top notch, start to finish. From getting initial information from the office, through booking, vaccinations, travel, and supplies, to making the mountain journey, I can't see how it could have been smoother.

We did the 7-day journey which greatly assisted us with altitude/acclimatization. The guides were all friendly, encouraging, and welcoming of questions about themselves and their culture. They even made me a birthday cake and sang a beautiful Swahili birthday song, come on.

This trip is my only experience with Ian Taylor Trekking, but I highly recommend them if you're looking to improve your odds of Kili summit success.

I just had the most fantastic experience on the Inca Trail, and I wanted to share how incredible it was for you. The team was so positive and friendly, which made the whole experience unforgettable. From the moment we started planning the trip to setting off on the trail, they supported us every step of the way. Special thanks to Laura for her helpful video and Zoom meeting support during our preparation for this hiking tour.

The support team, especially the porters, were fantastic. They helped set up our camp and ensured we had everything we needed, like setting up ( if required, like me) our sleeping bags with inflatable mats. And the best part was waking up to freshly brewed muna or coca (tea/coffee) right at our tent door. Thanks to Miquel, our excellent guide, and Pershy for keeping such a great team under his leadership.

The food was not only delicious but it was also prepared with so much care. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all amazing! Special thanks to the chef and support team for their hard work and dedication.

The three experienced guides went above and beyond to ensure we were always safe and comfortable during the hike. They even split the group into different sections so everyone could walk at their own pace without feeling rushed.

The whole week on the trail was simply fantastic. I made new friends and had the best conversations over dinner. Now that the tour has ended, I miss the team and our great time. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend experiencing the Inca Trail with Ian Taylor and his incredible team.
