Thoroughly enjoyed our private 10 hour charter with Hubbard’s Marina on Feb 19! Captain Sal and mate “Scraps” took excellent care of providing everything we needed from bait, water on ice, poles, to tender loving care for those of us who had a touch of sea sickness. We had a day of slightly rough water, but Capt Sal took measures to make the best of it. He moved us to many different spots that allowed us maximum opportunities for fishing. "The Hub” was a comfortable vessel. Had great shade when you wanted it, a bathroom (that was tricky in the rough water!), and great bench seating. Both men gave us fishing tips, answered our many questions, taught us how to tie knots, how to handle the poles,…there were no dumb questions! Even though we had hoped for larger fish, we still caught a five gallon bucket of over ten different species. It was fun for us novices to learn about the different fish, what was in season vs out, about federal waters vs state waters. So much goes into these trips behind the scenes, and our crew knew it all. Don’t hesitate to fish with Hubbard’s Marina. We hear rumor they’re the #1 rated private charter in the nation. We agree!
Here’s an extra tip: We stayed the previous night in St. John’s Pass Hotel right across the street. This made parking included in their garage for the day. However, Hubbard’s also gives you a much reduced rate for that same garage across the street.

Ride in a large pontoon boat. Much larger than what we use in the Midwest!! Bench seating. Wow! This is much more than a dolphin tour. Our Captain took us around the huge Bay Area. Lots of information to learn and hear. He did a magnificent job keeping it light and fun and informative too. Loved he politely asked others to turn off their phones. Well done Captain Mike!! Saw one pod of dolphins 🐬. Wish we would have seen more. Maybe next time cause we will be back! My only wish would have been for it to be longer!

I had a wonderful experience at Hubbard’s Marina! My boyfriend and I booked a 5 hour fishing excursion through Expedia, and we got a lot out of it for a very reasonable price. The captain and crew were very friendly, super knowledgeable and helpful, and brought us to a few different spots good for fishing. We caught a good amount of fish ourselves, and it seemed almost everyone aboard caught at least 1 as well. After the boat, the crew filleted our fish right on the marina, and we were able to bring it over to the Friendly Fisherman restaurant next door where the chefs cooked it to our liking free of charge. Incredible experience all around!

We had an amazing relaxing day at Shell Key. The weather was great the water was clear and we got a ton of great shells. The captains Todd and Zip were awesome very welcoming and friendly. We absolutely can’t wait to book our next adventure with Hubbards wonderful team!! If we could give them a 1,000 stars we would. Thank you for making our experience great!! 😊 We enjoyed the live creatures and returned them to the ocean

I loved Hubbards Marina so much i ended up doing 3 trips with them. I did their dolphin boat and even though i didnt see any dolphins, they were very knowledgeable enough to give the group a history on the housing and site seeing. I enjoyed the trip and then signed up for their 5 hour fishing cruise. I caught fish and had a great time, the ride was great, the weather was great and they wont tell you to buy shrimp but they arnt expensive and i think they helped. I had such a great time, i also booked the 3 hour shelling tour. a great company and I plan on coming back.

I took my son on the 12 hour extreme trip and boy was in extreme. We loaded the box with fish had an amazing day and the boat was very comfortable to ride on the Captain very knowledgeable and the first mate was beyond helpful. Great day many memories made.

Robin and Braelyn were amazing guides for our trip to shell island. Very knowledgeable and informative and all-around great hosts! The trips out and back were quick and beautiful, and the shells and wildlife on the island were incredible.

We have been on like 3 - 39 hr trips that all of them were amazing. There was something different about our first 44 hr. full moon trip! Tammy and crew just very helpful to whatever was needed! All the trips that we was on, Will was never a captain, it was something about the way he ran the show. Started out really slow and just like that, WHAM! What a great experience on my first 44 hr. full moon trip!
