I am incredibly grateful for the compassionate care that Raquel and her team provided during Mom's final months. From the moment I reached out, they responded promptly, ensuring that her needs were met with utmost care and attention. They provided essential equipment such as a hospital bed and a reclining wheelchair, as well as the necessary medications to help make her comfortable. Their compassion and dedication truly made a difference during a very difficult time. I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional support.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the home hospice. Two stars overall. This was end of 2033. Almost a completely negative experience except for the home health aides who deserve five stars. The visiting RN was a traveling nurse and had no training or skills for hospice care. The company admin folks were angry about any feedback and then called and harassed our elderly parent caregiver scolding them. The nurses aids were amazing and they get five stars. The on call RN on the weekends that were available by phone were also quite helpful - four stars. The company sent a package of medications with no written instructions and when we asked there was a vague we will let you know when to use them answer but they didn’t. They were late with supplies so we had to purchase them. They never suggested using mouth swabs but luckily someone suggested them. The hospital bed was some 1990s crappy bed. The chaplain came and was very nice and said he would be back the next week but never came. He called one day weeks later to see about coming to visit and we let him know it was too late. Our relative had already passed. No guidance given at the end to help our elderly caregiver relative know what to expect. No increased visits even when we let them know our relative was close to dying. Having experienced good hospice before I know it was all wrong. We had to work to make it good ourselves and hospice only added to the stress of the experience except for the home health aides.

The staff was wonderful and took great care of my mom. They were gentle and kind. Made sure she was treated with dignity at all times. She passed peacefully without pain or suffering. They were also great with all the family and friends who visited my mom.

To begin with, I am a Hospice nurse for over a decade, & 30 plus yrs of nursing experience, who my dad last year was under this company’s care, reasons out of my control, unfortunately, it was probably the worst experience of my life! Long story short, my dad was dying, & he was drowning in his own secretions, I requested the night nurse to please, get suction( canister- for superficial suction) that I would suction my dad, she told me that my dad was drowning in his own secretions because of me, because I requested that he be given medication to dry his secretions & that is why this happened, then I requested for suction( superficial), & she told me: “no,” that they didn’t do that at that care center, that if they did they would need a doctor’s order, so I requested that they call the doctor for an order, & the nurse told me: “no,” that she was not calling dr at that time of night.
Lord, have mercy! They placed my dad on his side, & yes it helped some, eventually things resolved. God knows!!! I requested to speak to the nurse in charge the next day, She listened apologetically, but as far as I know there was no follow-up, no one called me to see what happened, etc. Yes, there were some good nurses there & I am thankful for their care for my dad, but NO, I do NOT recommend this company to anyone!!!!! Horrible, horrible!!!
