The holiday lights always look great. Highly recommend taking time for this small town offering. They accept donations as you enter.

Came during Christmas time with a couple of friends to see Christmas lights. Completely free, but you can make some donations to the area. It was a short drive around the lake and you can see the effort they put into making this place look nice. It was a short 30 minute drive from St. Louis, Missouri.

As always, the Christmas light show was spectacular!! Thank you to all the volunteers for making this happen every year. Sorry for no photos, but go see for yourself.

I visited Horner Park while they were hosting a Winter Wonderland Lighted Christmas Show. It was impressive.

The display was set up so you can just drive through the park and enjoy the lights from your car. As you enter, volunteers approach you to answer any questions you have and provide any information you might need to know.

About a quarter of a mile into the park, there is an area where you can pull over and watch a big display of lights. They are timed up with a local radio station, which the volunteers tell you to tune to upon entrance.

Speaking of the radio station, there's also an informational welcome message that airs in the loop of music.

After watching the light show (as long as you like) you drive through the rest of the display before leaving.

While the displays are beautiful and impressive, I feel like there is some room for improvement. However, for a small town Christmas light display, which operates on donations and volunteers, it's worth the visit.

Make sure to donate so they are able to keep doing it next year.

Nice park, but desperately in need of repair and maintenance. I would have put 3 stars, but while I was there, a man on a riding lawn mower came by and let us know that the park would be closed on Saturday for painting. That let me know that repair and maintenance was under way so I feel like the park will be better. Also, the park has much more than what I saw in one area of outdated play structures. My friends and I walked a bit to a gazebo that had a sign for #COVID19 regulations which is good. We did a bit of swing dancing in the lovely weather by the sparkling lake and had a good time.

They need a trustee to open the park in the winter and all year long. I went to drive-thru and the gates were locked for the season
