Let me start this out by saying that we've worked with MANY different vendors over the year but Tori is in a league of her own. She is incredibly communicative and a quick thinker. She has this glow about her that immediately makes you feel safe in her presence. When a rain storm threatened the outdoor ceremony at the wedding we were working together, Tori was already ahead of the game and came to the bride with solid alternatives. Because of this initiative on Tori's part, everything ran so smoothly and one never could have guessed that there had been a hitch. She was incredible not just in serving the couple, but their families, AND all of the vendors. Truly cannot say enough about how much of go-getter Tori is. I want to start off by saying that if you are planning a wedding and looking for a smooth, stress-free beautiful day then RUN don’t walk to book with Honey Event Planning and Coordination!

I was lucky enough to have had the pleasure of working with Raquel (and also briefly Tori) while planning my September 2023 wedding. I booked their coordination services after a lot of thought/consideration. I initially wanted to save money and thought between my friends, family and I that we’d be able to pull it all together day of—boy, would I have been so sadly mistaken!!

Adding Honey to our list of vendors was the second best thing to come from the wedding day, other than marrying the man of my dreams.

Seriously, from our first meeting to the rehearsal dinner and wedding and even the days following— Raquel was a God send. She helped bring my vision to life, kept people on track, ensured the timeline ran flawlessly, reduced my stress, gathered decorations at the end of the night, answered questions and was the hype woman/right-hand I never knew I needed but am so grateful I had!

Raquel was an amazing wedding coordinator who was ready/prepared for anything that came up, I can’t recommend her enough.

I truly believe the Holy Spirit had a hand in finding Tori and Honey Event Planning and Coordinating. Living 4 hours away from the venue and being the Mother of the Bride had me a nervous wreck. Add to this that our venue did not allow us to decorate until 8:30 A.M. the day of the wedding. I prayed “Lord help us” everyday. I found Honey Events online while home from work with COVID. 2 days later we had a Zoom meeting with myself in central Illinois, the bride in Algoma, Wisconsin and Tori. I hired her as a “one day coordinator” for the wedding and reception at The Gibson Social Club. Tori started working with my daughter immediately. She is amazing!! We brought our own decorations. Honey Events did our ceremony flowers. Absolutely beautiful!! Tori showed up the morning of the wedding and took over. Decorating, working with vendors making sure all was in order. I was able to be with my daughter and enjoy the entire day. My daughters dreams were brought to reality without a hitch. Thank you God for orchestrating this blessed event and for Honey Event Planning. Booking Honey events was some of the best money that we spent during the wedding planning process and was worth every single dollar!! Despite how stressful wedding planning was, working with Tori always made me feel relieved and made me feel super comfortable going into our wedding day. Tori was so professional, communicative, organized, and dedicated to her job. On the day of our wedding, we had Tahlia (and assistant Nicole) as our day of coordinator. Our wedding day was the first time meeting Tahlia in person. She truly brought our venue to life, despite the set up time being very short. She helped not only with set up, but checked to see if there was anything we needed throughout the night, and helped with take down too. Could not recommend them enough!

If you are contemplating whether or not a coordinator is worth the money let me just tell you if it’s Honey Event Planning & Coordinating it is worth EVERY penny. Tori & Tahlia are amazing!! From the pre-planning meetings to the day of set-up & execution these two were fantastic. What really stood out to us about the Honey Team was the little things they did that only wedding experts would know to do. When delays in food came, Tahlia knew to start speeches to distract guests. When it was time to clean up, Tahlia knew exactly how to pack up our decor to make our pick up the next day go smoothly. The next day, I was really concerned that I wouldn’t have any flowers left to preserve & was so happy to find all of the bouquets neatly packed up and in water. What makes a day of coordinator worth the money is having people like Tori & Tahlia on your side helping with the things that you as a bride or groom would never think of. Tori and Meghan were absolutely amazing!!! I cannot recommend them enough. Tori help make the day go so smoothly.
