We sailed on the Rotterdam during the holidays from Ft. Lauderdale. We like Holland America, if you don’t purchase all of the “upgrades” the included options are quite nice. We did opt for lobster on one of the nights for a reasonable up-charge.
We liked the art and pickle ball. The band in the Blues Lounge was amazing! BB King Lounge! They had horns and lots of energy!

The people were great, the food was too yours and we only ate from the Lido deck. They had so many great options! I love kids, but was supposed to see how old most of our cruisers were. It was almost like an adult only. The few kids did great and of course got lots of attention.

All was well. Service was top-notch and done quietly. Food was excellent. I loved the options and quality each meal. Suite was sooooo worth it. Easy to follow instructions provided while on board and for disembarkation. Spa was decent Nice boat, a little old, but well kept and very clean. I do wish they would give us products for hygiene that were not Elemis. All were very scented and the conditioner was worse each use.

Eurodam: 11 day eastern wayfarer. Terrific itinerary. We had a fantastic experience thanks to all the crew aboard the Eurodam. Shore excursions were very good. The snorkeling in St.Lucia had issues. Would not recommend that one but all others were great. Weather, food and smooth sailing made it a joy. Thank you

After a one week Alaska cruise out of Vancouver in the fall, we did a 22 day cruise on the same HA ship, the MS Zaandam, from San Diego, through the Panama, to Fort Lauderdale. We had a very relaxing voyage with many interesting ports of call. The food is fantastic and the staff is incredibly attentive to one's every need. Highly recommended!

We have been on other cruise lines but Always come back to Holland. Hospitality, Showes Casino and Observation Deck always relaxing and quiet. Food service and room service always great. We enjoy the size of and capacity of these ships.

My wife and I just completed an unforgettable 13-day Alaska land+cruise journey with Holland America (Nieuw Amsterdam). Their competence, communications, organization, and generosity are difficult to match. I must mention our train car guide Jayne on the 8 hour trip from Denali to Anchorage. She informed, entertained, and made us laugh the whole time. The cruise and the excursions were outstanding and the food was exceptional and abundant; the scenery breathtaking. Our room on the 6th deck was spacious with a king bed, a deck with fantastic view, and a bathroom nicer than most hotels. In fact, rooms are a lot nicer than the pictures I saw on their website! In 2015 we began a quest to see all 50 US capitols; Juneau was the last one, and we are glad we chose Holland America to complete our quest.

Tip: if you book on HAL site (because you cannot find your particular cruise on Costco travel), you have 30 days to transfer your booking to Costco travel and Costco will send you a shopping card ($$$!) at the conclusion of your cruise.

Excellent Experience at Holland America’s Cruise Port Terminal 26!

The process from dropping off your luggage to being checked in at this terminal was incredibly smooth. The staff here really make the transition from land to sea as effortless as possible.

Once you're checked in, there's plenty of comfortable seating available while you wait to board the ship. It's great not to feel rushed or cramped as you anticipate your cruise adventure.

All the employees at this terminal go above and beyond to assist you. They are consistently helpful and always maintain a pleasant demeanor, making the entire experience enjoyable.

Highly recommend for anyone embarking on a Holland America cruise from Fort Lauderdale.
