We stayed here for 6 days and felt there were both pros and cons. The pros being friendly staff, great breakfasts, large, safe parking lot, quiet at night and a decent pool. the staff was friendly and helpful.

The cons being there was an odor in the halls and somewhat in the room we stayed. It almost smelled like too much air freshener. The room was also in need of an upgrade. The furniture was old and the bathroom was old. It was well stocked with towels and they gladly exchanged dirty ones for new, but the tub shower needed an upgrade. It did have nice hot water and good pressure.

The common areas were nice, but the laundry area seemed dirty, but they had free laundry facilities. That was very nice,

I thought it was quite overpriced for the hotel.

Our experience at the Bonita Springs Holiday Inn Express did not get off to a good start. When we arrived and were assigned a room, it turned out that the room was not ready to be occupied. Went went back to the checkin desk and were given keys to another room. This room had the air conditioning temperature turned down to 68 degrees and it took almost 2 full days for the room to warm up to a comfortable 72 degrees (we only stayed for 3 days). The handle on the door was occasionally difficult to push down to allow for access to the room. Finally the door to the pool would not open with our key card when we attempted to reenter the building. In summary, the staff was very pleasant but the building left something to be desired.

We had a quick one night stay here recently. The front desk staff was more than helpful and kind.
The hotel looked nice and well kept, however, upon entering our room, we were hit with an intense musty smell. I had noticed that the room next to us had a commercial fan going in it with work going on inside. I don't know if our room had recently been worked on or had new issues, but the room was so damp and musty, it would have been impossible for anyone with allergies or respiratory issues to stay there. We put the air on high immediately upon arrival and thankfully we went out for the night and only slept there one night. The room coverlet was damp to the touch when we got in bed at night.
We didn't mention anything to staff since we only stayed one night and it seemed like they were doing work to that are of the hotel. Hopefully they get it figured out because the room was beautiful otherwise.

When I arrived, I was told there are no “non-pet” rooms. All of their rooms are pet friendly and I’m asthmatic. Let the fun begin here.

Room was very musty smelling and there was mold in the AC vents. Bed was sunken in where you sleep so it was quite obviously an old mattress. Not at all comfortable.

U was not able to sleep well at all, especially waking up having to take my asthma medication. They really need to designated a pet free floor or clearly state ALL of their rooms are pet friendly. If I knew that to begin with, I would not have booked this hotel. Lady at the front desk was very nice but there was really nothing she could do about any of these issues.

The other reason I booked this hotel was for the destination car charger. It was broken so I couldn’t use it. :/

Returning home, it took almost 2 weeks to clear my lungs. I ended up with an upper respiratory infection. Would not recommend this hotel, especially to anyone with allergies or asthma.

Housing illegals should get you shut down. We found mold in 2 bathrooms before we got a room that didn’t have mold. Susy was exceptional and actually walked us to the 3rd to make sure. No coffee in 1 maker and cold in another, with no staff in sight. 1 is too high for a review for this particular hotel. It’s not even close but is the worst IHG hotel I’ve ever seen hands down

Hotel is in a good location. Other than that it’s not great at all. Breakfast from 630-930, yet there’s 15-20 people taking everything before 630. And they feed the same group dinner as well. Garbage everywhere. Literally sitting in room and got a bang on the door, it was cops. Someone called saying there was domestic violence going on. Come to find out cops didn’t even know where to go. Front desk let them walk halls and they heard the tv. You bring any issue up to staff and you are shunned for it. Rooms are damp. 2 dehumidifier’s going non stop. I don’t feel safe even walking outside to vehicle after staying for a couple weeks. Everyone is moving out of this hotel because of hotel allowing the rid raf. Pool isn’t heated. You’re lucky to even get a pool towel. Nobody cleans it. Luckily there’s a net I can fish stuff out. I could keep going on and on. I’m just heading elsewhere

If I could give this hotel higher than a 5 I would !! The customer service here is just absolutely amazing I don't think I've ever been to a hotel that has fun energetic, caring employees. We were at another Holiday inn express in Naples and they lost power and the hotel everyone left we were here from Boston with no place to go hotels had no power or availability. We drove 45 min and just pulled up and asked we were told they could fit us in 1 night but would keep an eye out for cancelations well then the next morning there was a no show and we got another room !! The assistant manager Olga she is the BEST of the best !! She was from first contact caring , friendly and just beyond accommodating!! Every day always acknowledged us and really made us feel like she really cared. The morning we left she wasn't in yet I'm sorry we missed her and I left her a note thanking her for everything she did for us. We will be back thank you all again . Until we meet again

I recently stayed at this location for 10 nights while I was getting some Hurricane Ian damage fixed on my condo in Fort Myers. It was hot during that time, which is typical, but the A/C in my room was at the perfect temperature. The large King bed was extremely comfortable! The room was very clean and quiet. I took a nice hot breakfast every morning which helped defray restaurant costs. The pool had a nice water feature which made a nice place to cool off after a long day!
