Even with the remodeling inconveniences this is still the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in while visiting family in the area. Our room was clean and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. When we first got to our room we noticed we had no bath towels. Thank goodness we noticed and were able to get some before shower time. Some things appeared to still be undone in the room we were in. The safe was not mounted and was lying on the floor in the closet. The bottles of amenities in the bathroom for shower were not mounted to the wall. They looked to have fallen off. The thermostat was not connected but you could still change temperature at the A/C. The fan for the bathroom came on every time you turned the light switch on. I think it was supposed to be hooked up to the other switch. Once this hotel is completely done I think it’s going to be very nice.

Honestly after reading more recent reviews I was a bit apprehensive to stay here. It’s not bad.

Upon walking in there was definitely a mildewy odor & they’re also clearly renovating the hotel.

My room or bathroom did not have any mold, the AC worked, no bed bugs. I had a fridge in my room with a freezer compartment.

Area is a bit secluded but it’s quiet.

Staff is nice and pleasant. Honestly a solid stay.

Stopped in on way to NC and this was perfectly along the way. They're doing a remodel right now so it's a bit unkempt but that's to be expected. Room was very nice!! The shower head felt really nice the next morning as it was very powerful

This hotel is being renovated - top to bottom.

No pool, no workout room, partially completed room, leaking toilet, etc and they still want full price for what rooms are available.

The staff was great and they are to be commended given the conditions.

Finally a day off to lay in my room and watch football. Place is a disaster area of renovations, but that doesn't bother me too much.
BUT they also don't get any local channels on the TV here. No football.
Wonder why that wasn't mentioned before I bought the room?

Everything is under construction. The first room we were offered had the smell of mold so we asked for another. The morning coffee was from the previous night and cold. It appears they feel construction gives them leave to mistreat their guests. I should have chosen a different place to stay

Positive: The beds were clean and comfortable. Negative: The hotel was under construction & there was NO indication of this when booking the hotel. The entire hallway just outside of our room (to left of the elevators) was gutted & a construction mess. Water dripping from ceiling outside breakfast room.

Hard to find. Need larger signs. No street signs in town. Shower was excellent. Beds great. Quiet hotel. Food breakfast very good.
