The hotel was easy to get to from the Interstate. The parking was extremely limited, especially for larger vehicles, but it sounds like they are working on expanding the parking area.

Check in and check out were great. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful!

The only room left that would accommodate us was a room with a bed and a pull-out. Upon entering the room, we noticed two dirty pillowcases wadded up on the desk area, and a comforter and bottom sheet hastily folded up, sitting on top of the plastic casing that usually holds a sheet set, all on the coffee table by the pull-out. In the drawer we found a nicely folded flat sheet and pillow case. So, were those dirty sheets from the last people in our room? We think so. Not cool, Holiday Inn Express!

It made us wonder about the sheets on the bed as well. Once we got clean sheets we felt better and slept fairly well. The bed was super comfortable. The pullout was... well, a pullout!

The breakfast options were good, although the cinnamon rolls tasted overcooked.

All in all, it was an okay hotel, but the quality did not match the price.

We booked a room late. Just needed to get off the road around midnight for a night. We went straight to bed. The room was on full AC set to 61*F when we walked in. When I woke up in the morning, I found that whoever was in our room before had vomited in the shower. There was also hair in the sink and on the walls of the shower. The towels were at least clean I think. I brought this to the attention of the front desk on our way out. The guy at the front desk could not care less and just said Ok, then went back to playing on his phone He didn't even attempt to apologize for it. They clearly don't clean or check the rooms. Wish I hadn't been so tired to stop. Maybe I would have noticed and gone somewhere else.

When we checked in they informed us that the elevator was out of service. It's already late and only one other hotel in the area and we just wanted to sleep. They guy at the desk had to put us on the 2nd floor cause he said that's where all the 2 queens were. He told me where to park cause my husband and I are both disabled and would have never made it up the stairs with our bags to our room. We parked by the pool and went right in on the 2nd floor, but next morning for breakfast it still wasn't fixed. I walked outside and around to check out and get my receipt. How can this be ok?.

Because of weather coming in to the Nashville area we decided at the last minute to leave for our vacation a day early and just get over Monteagle. This hotel is just after crossing over the mountain going south. We were very surprised at the quality of the hotel. Nothing against Holiday In Express hotels. They are generally good and meet the need. This specific one was excellent. Seemed to be recently renovated. Was very clean. The shower in our bathroom was excellent including the water pressure. Bed was super comfortable. I wish this hotel was located where we would normally stay on our trips south. If it was I would always stay there.

I typically enjoy a stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I was disappointed this time. We were traveling through the area on our way home to Wisconsin when we stayed here. Arrival later in the day and we were too tired to keep driving.
Was informed upon our arrival that the elevator was not working and that our room was on the 3rd floor! Front desk clerk claimed he tried to call to let us know, but upon checking my phone later, I had no missed calls. Felt like the overall look and feel of this hotel was not as nice as many other IHG hotels I have stayed in.
Disappointed and feel we should receive a partial refund.

This was our first Holiday Inn in a few years so take this with that in mind. We found the staff friendly. The breakfast was great--the attendant goes above and beyond with keeping up with cleanliness. The rate of cleanliness for the breakfast could put a 4 or 5 star hotel to shame. This is unusual for most two and three star chain hotels! The noise from everyone allowing their doors to slam was unbelievable. The room doors are not noise reducers and need slow closers. The room size is average and room was comfortable. With all of this, we would stay here again, knowing we would need a noise machine of some sort. We did appreciate the way the furniture is set. We were able to have two suitcases and a small bag out without any trouble.

Hotel is always clean. Front desk personnel is always friendly. Have stayed at this 2-3x and have always enjoyed my stay. The breakfast options are always plenty and dining area is very clean and tidy. Close to the freeway.

This hotel checked all the boxes you want when on the road. Everything from lobby to room was clean. Breakfast had a good variety and was well stocked. We will definitely be staying overnight again when traveling to Florida.
