Our recent stay at this Holiday Inn Express was fair, but it’s clear that the hotel is not being properly maintained. The property has become noticeably worn, with dents, scratches, mismatched paint, and an overall lack of cleanliness throughout.

In our room, we noticed several maintenance issues that diminished the experience. The bathroom had splatter marks all over the walls, and the caulking around the tub was moldy. The light fixture by the bed was even held together with duct tape, which was concerning. Everywhere we looked, there were signs of attempted repairs, but unfortunately, they appeared to be done by someone without the proper skills to do them correctly.

This hotel doesn’t necessarily need a full renovation, but it does need a thorough cleaning and proper repairs to ensure a more comfortable stay for guests. With some attention to detail and skilled maintenance work, it could be a much better experience. Until then, I would recommend looking at other options in the area.

Don’t recommend. The lobby and breakfast area were clean, and breakfast was good and included with the room. However, the room itself was disappointing. The walls were scuffed and stained, the door was damaged, and the room felt outdated. Two lights didn’t work, none of the outlets by the bed worked, and one outlet was so loose it couldn’t hold a charger. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable. My coworker also had issues, needing to switch rooms twice due to a strong smell of marijuana. Overall, the hotel needs significant maintenance and better upkeep.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, I noticed the hallways were old and outdated and had an unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve when I entered the room.

The air conditioning barely worked, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The television was an outdated model, and the screen was completely blue, making it impossible for me to watch my weekly European soccer game—a big letdown. I called the reception desk and requested someone to come and fix the TV, but no one ever showed up.

Considering the condition of the hotel and the lack of service, the room was significantly overpriced. I did not get the value I expected for my money. I recommend this hotel to anyone and will contact the hotel. However, I would not recommend requesting a refund for this unpleasant experience.

I stayed at this hotel from Nov 2024 to mid Jan 2025. The hotel is 100% non smoking which was awesome Because I just recently quit. The location is prime with plenty to do close by from beaches and bowling to a movie theater so close if you threw a rock you could hit it. The breakfast is amazing and complimentary. They actually have a restaurant area instead of throwing you out in the lobby and having you make do. Kaylee the front desk lady was one of many staff members that deserve a shout out however I checked out a week ago and cannot remember there names however their personalities i will never forget. Especially the gentleman whose festive outfits where worth getting up in the mornings n having the breakfast.... I wld recommend to anyone and everyone.....

This is such a clean hotel. Beds comfortable, a very nice lounge area just to relax or to sit and work. Free full breakfast bar every morning 6:30 am to 10;00 am. The Associates are amazing at this hotel and so friendly and kind. They go out of their way to assist you. We couldn't find a hotel after Hurricane Milton came through and they made us a priority and got us a room for entire week at the last minute. I love this place and due to their kindness, this will be my go to Hotel for all future stays. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to feel welcome . It's conveniently located. You can walk to watch a movie, get groceries or shop. Nice area to walk around and explore. Check them out, you will be pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere.

The room layout was great, the closet didn’t have a pole in it to hang ur clothes, bathroom door scraped along floor making loud noises when open or closing, but was clean. Elevator didn’t have inspect very posted buttons broken inside. Pool was great hot tub needs jets repaired. Breakfast was good & service was good.

The rooms here are dated & old school, but, the BEST/QUIETEST room atmosphere Ive ever stayed at in a Holiday Inn. (Im Diamond Elite and travel all over the country 300+ days out of the year). So if you value quiet, this is the place. Tons of shade trees in the parking lot to avoid a scalding car in the morning too. Tons of close by businesses.

The fitness center is very big and well stocked, but:

-No TV to watch between sets (never seen that before)

-The water jug was empty a lot

-There is a very strong glue-like odor

Our room was clean and comfortable and, as always, the breakfast was great with a lot of choices. Check unfortunately was quite slow even though there were two front desk agents available. Located in a great area with a lot of restaurants and shopping in the area for us.
