The room was very clean. Not a spot of dust anywhere and it was quiet. I love the fact they offered make up wipes and the decorative ways they do their towels. Whoever cleaned the room definitely took the time to care for it. I got lucky because it was the last room only because of a cancellation. Priceline put it as a 2.5 star hotel. I think it should have been more than that. I was pleasantly surprised

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express in Auburn in March 2025 and had a wonderful stay! The service was excellent; Carmen at the front desk was super friendly and gave us all the info we needed for a great stay. Service with a smile! I was with family so we had a room with 2 queen beds and it was very spacious, beds were very comfortable, lots of outlets for charging, and everything was clean. It was a great room. Last part was the hot breakfast- delicious! Great selection of food and drinks and everything was tasty. Highly recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at the Auburn MA facility for 1 night. I have stayed there in the past without any issues. It is a clean and comfortable Holiday Inn. My issue this time was solely with the General Manager. I was originally scheduled to stay 4 nights but my trip got shortened to one night. I went to check out at 11:55am and was told that since it was 55 minutes past the checkout time that I would be charged for another night. I explained to the General Manager that I would be staying in the Worcester area a couple of nights per week for a few months and hoped that she could credit me back this one night since I was only an hour late. She said that she could not make that exception. I was admittedly surprised that she still said no after I pointed out that I was a long time Priority Club member and that I would have not her choice but to stay at a different hotel. There is a competitor hotel that is much more convenient to my job site but I choose to stay in IHG properties out of loyalty. This general manager’s decision to pocket one extra night of fees requires me to rethink that loyalty. I can either stay at the competitors hotel and start a new loyalty program or stay at the Sturbridge hotel an extra 15 miles away from Worcester. Either way I will certainly never stay at the Auburn hotel again. What’s the point of being a Priority Club member if you are treated the same as everyone else all for an extra 55 minutes.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Auburn, MA! The room had everything I needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable - I slept great. The hotel's location is perfect for anything in the Auburn or Worcester area, with easy access to the highway and plenty of nearby restaurants. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. There was a good selection for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the area!

All you can ask for in a Holiday Inn express. Clean quiet facility and friendly staff. My state even included a full breakfast, which was very good. The gym was a little small but was suitable and clean. I would recommend anyone who needed to stay in the area to stay at this hotel.

Had a nice one night stay here with kids. No complaints, other than that people should know that this location does NOT have a pool or hot tub, despite what the reviews and customer photos show. I assume people are getting confused and reviewing the wrong location? Anyway, our fault for trusting the photos and not calling to confirm! The kids were bummed, but the YMCA 15 minutes away saved the day with a huge, 90 degree pool.

Otherwise the hotel was just what you’d expect from a holiday inn express. Clean, basic rooms, coffee in the lobby, decent hot breakfast buffet included with the room.

Hotel was great and clean. Front desk staff was amazing. I can’t say the same for housekeeping. I stay in holiday inns at the least 60 nights a year, have had a great experience say if I accidentally left something behind. This time, due to a snow storm, I switched out boots last minute and forgot to grab the other pair as I was walking out the door. Honest mistake on my end, upon my drive from there to return home to NY- I realized I had left them in the room. Called the hotel as soon as I realized ,for them to only tell me they could not find the boots. I know I left them there and where they were. So housekeeping took them and never reported it to lost or stolen. Again, I understand that it was my fault the item was left behind- but as a guest, things happen! And we should be able to trust in housekeeping that it’s a lost and found, not a lost and keep. It’s really disheartening, especially when you know for sure an item was left, and where it was left. Hopefully the person who scanned their card to enter and clean was looked into and made note of to prevent this from happening in the future.

The Supervisor was great! I believe her name was Carmen. I love that she remembers seeing me stop by, her personality is outstanding & she is very respectful! I feel as if I’m home whenever I stay here. The rooms are always clean & stocked. Never have an issue & always have a wonderful time checking in!
